That was something I found intimidating. There's kind of that generic emo DK stereotype that all roleplayers are afraid of having to put up with, and I didn't want to be associated with that on my DK.

I actually lucked out in finding an all-DK guild that wasn't retarded. Everyone had personality and goals and missions they could set their eyes on, except for this one guy that would stand in the corner and we'd all kind of secretly laugh at. His name was Vladimir and he was a night elf, literally every post he would say while we were talking was something like this:

I log back in the other week and half the players have quit and the message of the day is "I need help rebuilding the guild, anyone with ideas please add my btag Vlad#1234"

It made me feel so sad.

But the best general rule is to mostly understand 2 things:

1 - History of what it was like while serving under Arthas. You had to kill your brothers and sisters, innocents with blood on your hands, blah blah you'll never have the life you once had and that's sad so boo hoo

2 - Part of being a DK isn't just that you're undead, but there is a curse element that changes what your natural desires are. You literally lust for pain and death. You need to cause pain or something every so often, and if you don't you get these hunger pangs that threaten to rob you of your free will and you turn into a mindless killing machine, and without Arthas to guide you, you'd never really stop this directionless violence.

Besides those two things, you can still be an otherwise normal person. You can care for others, you can have passions, you can have dreams and goals. Hell, if you really like butterflies, that's okay. You can chase butterflies. Maybe they remind you of simpler times, or a point in your youth before war and blood, and that's something worth holding onto. It doesn't need to be emo, it can be inspirational.

Well sadly I'm not resubbed again yet, but I was thinking of this for a backstory.

My DK wasn't a part of the Ebon Blade shit, he was raised later when the Alliance and Horde came knocking on Arthas' doorstep. He somehow managed to survive until Bolvar took over, and in order to keep my character from going beserk from lack of blood, he was sent into a part of Northrend to hibernate for a time. Now he's awake again and has to learn about what happened between then and now.

He could also do black smithing because he secretly likes shiny and clean things, and DK armor/random armor loots would irk him.

Ysera gets a corruption meter, and demon dongs start advancing on Ysera. Different sizes, shapes and colors. Raid must keep them away from her. If any get to her she gets some corrupted cum filling her meter and ultimately leading to her corruption. If a big black dong hits her she gets half a bar of corruption.

To counter corruption on her players need to channel some kind of virgin spell on her or some shit.
Clearly one brave tank has to stand in front of her huge dripping dragon cunt to stop the big black cocks that fixate on their prize while the other players kite around the rest of them.

Hey there /wowg/, I'm a little lost right now and could use some guidance.
Which trinket should I be using as a combat rogue? I know they're not ideal, but these are the best I've found. Got the 715 heirloom in the other slot.
On the one hand the 685 one has 52 more agility, but the other has muh ilvls, a gem slot and a use effect that may or may not be shit.
I have no idea how useful mastery is honestly, I was always told to prioritize other stats.

Here's one of the new Monk animations. Not really animated just yet but on WoWhead, has the animation datamined for most Monk races.

There's files that suggest more animations but they're currently empty. So the possibility of more idle animations, and other animations in general, are a good possibility.

Not the guy you're replying to, but from my understanding you're building a database on your PC with all the information to run a server. You also have to modify your server list in your WoW folder to 127.0.0.1 to get started I think.

It takes some tinkering but you can tinker around in the current alpha build and teleport to all the class halls.
