Well here a couple tricks and tips from another person having fun with Poppy on PBE


1.quickly pressing R twice in melee range is just a simple upwards popup like Malphite R
use this time to line up a garenteed Wallslam
2.CDR is what matters the most on her now. cap out CDR as soon as possible so you can use Q as often as possible.
3.remember this a CLASS SHIFt she is no longer the no counterplay assassin you know and love she is a PEELER and FRONTLINE FIGHTER build her as such(she has 132 base damage at level 18 so steraks and trinity is very good if your looking for DPS).
4.her armor increasing passive also works with Rune and masterie armor so be sure to take Armor per level seals and MR per lvl glyphs along with 18 points in resolve focusing on resistance modifiers(Unyielding, Legendary guardian).

Vi ult AoE stuns everyone around it including the target upon landing for 1-1.5 seconds

Rek'Sai ult gives her a Homeguard-esque movespeed boost and full fury upon landing. Also, the cooldown is reduced to a base coolown of 100/75/50 seconds.

Kindred ult cooldown is reduced to 110/90/70 base and heal is tripled for allied champions.

Ekko ult heal is increased by 50% and procs 3 stacks of his passive on anyone that it hits.

That about does it for champs that I main.

Yeah, from my experience her top lane got rammed kind of hard in the matchups she was usually good against, but her teamfighting and roaming potential got way, way buffed. If your team lands any kind of hard cc on their squishies you can just jump in, get off your rotation and delete them.
Overall though I'm not sure I like her any more, she doesn't seem as fun in the matchups I usually play her in (namely against jungle Yi).

Why are people not building IIIaoi tankier?

She has a shit-ton of sustain even without building for it, also ahs a ton of damage when she ults. Why not build Hydra or Death's Dance into Spirit Visage, then tank items?

Seems a lot more effective than building her mostly damage, when she wants to be in the middle of a fight.

I don't think a Normal has ever made me THAT upset before. I had 2-3 people Top AT ALL TIMES, yet STILL my team managed to lose the 4v2. That's not an exaggeration. Although W gives her a bunch of free stats now, at least once you get her vulnerable enough you can penetrate her defense.

Guys I have about 600 ARAM games and only 90 or so summoners rift games, all of which were from season 3.

Who should I start actually learning how to play summoners rift with? My favorite champs are Gangplank, Vlad, Garen, Zed, Yasuo, Ekko, Twisted Fate, Thresh, Braum, and Janna.

I'm thinking Twisted Fate would be a good choice for focusing on because he'd force me to learn map awareness, ganking, and split pushing, but I dunno. That's a lot of pressure/responsibility for someone who has barely played any summoners rift. Perhaps I should start getting back into it with a focus on top or support?

You can throw the shield to last hit a creep and you automatically get the Shield, so you have to decide if you'd rather get a shield, or deal extra damage.

Her passive is pretty much the only part of her kit that I feel like needs to be tweaked a bit. Maybe have it refresh on kills, although that shield does get pretty strong later on in the game. Or maybe have the shield fall towards where you are running, like Draven axes, because the shield will sometimes pop way over in the opposite direction you're headed, or worse under an enemy tower.
