Kos is an old one, that contact could have happened years or eons or hours ago. But yes contact was made, but the before she could birth the child she was killed by parasites. Probably stupid question but for 50str/25arc hybrids, why the 25 arcane? Why not stop at 20 and have spare points for other stats? Doesn't seem like there's anything worth getting that requires 25 arcane and since you're high on str its not like you're going for arcane scaling.

I'm BL 65 with a +8 Amgydalan Arm. Ludwig is shredding me. Advice? Part of me wants to just give up and return at BL 80 with a +10.

I don't know, m8. First stage is kinda tough, but it felt similar to Amelia, so I tried to use the same tactics. Second stage may seem harder, but stay close to him. His magic bullshit waves are easy to dodge, once you get a hang of it.

Also, at the first stage wreck his legs and try to visceral horse-chan as soon as he hits the floor.

And don't give up or give in to the urge to farm echoes.
You should land enough damge with +8 weapon, I think. Maybe try to find better gems.

Anyone else having difficulty playing online? When I ring me small bell, either in find someone within a couple minutes or I stay there for 30+ until I either die, close the application, or restart the ps4. I'm not sure which of those is fixing it, but something is clearly bugged here.

Ringing a beckoning bell doesn't summon the bell ringing maiden, and likewise summons no phantoms. Still consumes my insight and gives me the searching message though.

Pretty easy, in all honesty. Your dodge iframes start instantly, so just delay your dodges to the last second. People get fucked because they dodge early and get fucked by the tracking because they're relying on the attack missing (which it won't) rather than iframing it.

It took me a bunch of deaths to learn the timing but once you stay calm, dodge into their strikes and delay your dodges until you're sure to pass through the attack, it's not so bad.

I just picked up the Rakuyo on my SKL build on NG++ without getting hit. I think people struggling with them just need to learn to slow down. Wait for the attack to actually come at you and use your iframes, watch the direction of the attack and dodge into it. Watch for their combo attacks, dodge into the swing, throught he first attack and into the blindspot of their followups. Watch for the moves that actually track, and learn the spaces around it where it can't easily reach.

I think they're one of the most fun enemies in the game. They're always challenging and keep you constantly dodging and mindful of your positioning and adjusting your reactions. They really should have been a boss, even as a regular encounter they were a better bossfight than the failures.
