Run selling wouldn't be so prevalent if games allowed you to make money by actually being good at them.

Why do White Mages not DPS as a normal? It's literally my first healer and I'm only at 51 but it's laughably easy to keep people comfortably alive even while applying Aero II and Aero to most targets and fitting in the occasional Stone II or Holy. Even against bosses, even with rookie tanks.

What is the fucking disconnect here? I know I'm not some kind of Cleric Stance prodigy, so what is the excuse?

How should I go about looking for an AS static or group for it? I've been watching videos reading guides and learning, I really want to get gear faster than the esoteric limit and farming Diadem.

I can't get the 200 lance til next week, and even then I think I'm going to try to get Thordan down and get a 205 over Thanksgiving break.

I'm on Gilgamesh and am not exactly sure what the way to get an AS group is in short, one that wants a fresh player. Thordan has more leeway since it's new content it feels.

The whole point of Holy is the stun. Only over geared WHM's use it for DPS purposes when they already have aero 3 up and the pack of mobs still isn't dead yet due to low DPS from the actual DPS. Not really because WHM has good synergy with their own dps skillset unlike astrologians.
I don't deny stuns are a huge help in form of mitigation but if stun was removed we still have DS+regen, asylum and E4E to lower damage on a large pull. Stuns only last 7 seconds anyways and any whm that is in the instance dpsing will keep dpsing after mobs start resisting.

No. Throughout all of 2.x, (main, not off) tanks in progression groups either stacked really hard into VIT/Defense - in 2.4, it was actually a thing that Paladins melded a fuckload of DEX to their gear because of how it worked with Block/Parry - or went with STR/VIT melded gear for the most efficient combination of stats.

STR tanking during progression is a very new thing that only started in 3.0 because of how high DPS checks were in Alexander.

Wrong. Crafted left side will be exactly like it is now. Crafted accessories will have a higher ilvl to make up for the fact that you can't pentameld STR/VIT, but that's it. They're not going to magically have better stats than tome/raid accessories.

I'm expecting that Second Alexander NM will have i220 gear, the next set of tomestone gear will be i230, and the next set of raid/upgraded gear will be i240. The crafted sets will probably be i220 alongside the Alex NM gear, except you'll be able to overmeld them so they'll sit in between i220 raid and i230 tomestone gear (bearing in mind that those other types of gear will have meld slots too so it won't be like 2.4 where melded i110 was usually better than i120 Ironworks).
