Why are the quests all so short and generic? Why are the dungeons all samey and repeated?
Why are there little to no dialogue options for almost every interaction with an NPC you have?
Why are there no stats or classes?
Why are all the spells bland and samey?
Why are all the weapon types bland and samey?
Why is the world so small with nothing interesting to actually adventure in it to see?
Why do they get away with this shit? Is it because muh open world sandbox games are a meme?

Is it like this in Fallout 4 too? I've been staying away from it because of that and not having heard good things too.

Any ideas for a good overhaul mod? I've been looking at these three:
1. ACE w/ DUEL and maybe ASIS too
2. Requiem
3. Skyrim Redone

I just want something that won't bug out on me in the long run or cause save bloat and offers the best experience with frostfall,wet and cold, and RND. The unleveled world stuff from Requiem is appealing but I'm not sure it's compatible with much of anything.

You have too many graphics mods and your computer and/or game can't handle them.
If Skyrim hits a certain point of memory usage during a loading screen, it freezes and locks you in an infinite loading screen. Vanilla, this is some stupidly low cap based on TESV.exe, but there's mods that remove that cap. If it still happens after that, the problem is your computer.

Regarding "Unread Books Glow", it was changed recently so that you can turn off the Book glow completely, and it uses SKSE to append an asterisk to the front of a books name you have not read in the game world.

I highly recommend it.

Hey, /tesg/, just setting up my Morrowind. And I'm wondering if this is the right load order. It seems a bit backwards since I thought the morrowind file has to be the first one.

Technically speaking a Japanese sword would cut (more like chop) much better than a viking sword, or a longsword.

It'd also be slow as shit and awkward to handle due to the shape and weight.
A viking sword would be really fucking fast, especially when compared to a Japanese sword.

A short katana has about the same weight as a longass longsword.

Of course, no one except antique dealers, archeologists and historians know that.

For MLOX I'd need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package first.

I get a small error when loading the game but it doesn't seem to do anything.
