Whenever I'm in combat and I'm frantically trying to switch weapons using the 1-9 keys on my keyboard it seems to take several seconds and several frantic presses before I change weapons.

There's literally nothing 40k would do here other than obliterate everyone and use mininukes as fist weapons.

The coolness of any of it is that you get to wear chapter power armor.

I also noticed all melee weapons become one-handed in power armor. Including the super sledge. There needs to be power armor sized melee weapons that can't be wielded without it. Because it looks stupid to have someone swinging around a twig.

I did it. I kind of regret it. Sure you level faster, but you can level fast regardless even with just repeating minutemen missions for xp.

This way I feel more perk starved and it's taking me much longer and a much higher level to get my desired playstyle setup perk wise.

After finishing my vanilla playthrough, it's time for the roleplay fun run. In this run, I've decided to use the vanilla background story, only with the character being a true red blood American, who believes the minutemen are the best chance to achieve his goal of a reborn America. To this end, settlement is my main goal. I'm using the starlight drive-in as a trade hub, and thus the biggest "town" in the Commonwealth. The Castle will be the minutemen military installation, with spectacle island being the sole survivor's personal estate. Preston will be at the castle alongside Deacon. Macready and Hancock will be at the starlight. Curie and Codsworth will be at the estate, with Danse living there in exile. Unfortunately my autism skills do not extend to building

So /vg/, any tips for making the most out of a space? Especially in regards to building perimeter walls? Been using foundations, but still finding it tricky to round off walls.

The best way to handle a total conversion that can actually make use of the existing storyline structure is to make the player character an Inquisitor, perhaps an undercover one who can join the various factions either to spy on them or to turn to Chaos / Xenos-collaborator for the evil route. Holy shit the end-game becomes so fucking annoying. It's just WALK - LOADING SCREEN - FAST-TRAVEL LOADING SCREEN - WALK - PICK UP RADIANT AI QUEST OBJECTIVE - LOADING SCREEN - LOADING SCREEN rinse and repeat.

Am I the only one getting extremely crazed at the length of these loadings screens? I'm not even on that shit a comp; 60 FPS most places with everything on high / ultra.

Settlers have infinite ammo on non heavy weapons (Still need to test plasma).
Source - Me giving one of my guard post settlers a .50 sniper and 25 rounds, then having the town defend vs super mutants and a deathclaw, watching the person fire the gun and still having the same ammo after the fight.
Done the same with laser weapons and a gunner attack.
Also the provisioner guy I gave a combat rifle to and 20 rounds. Every now and again I find him going Rambo in Lexington. Still has the 20 bullets.

Only tested heavy weapons with a fatman, but I would assume all heavies actually use ammo.

Does CPU matter for this game at all? I can run on ultra with Godrays turned down with my GTX 960, but my CPU is a shit default that came with my PC. You can just gob it off dead Brotherhood officers. There are going to be plenty of those once the Prydwen arrives and starts its war on the wasteland - Brotherhood kill teams tend to be composed of two power armored Knights and one combat armored Knight officer (usually a Knight-Sergeant). Because the officer is always the least well protected, he/she tends to get ultramurdered when the Knights run into something they can't kill before it reaches them.

Well when I add like 999...999, it adds the ammo with a zero next to it - so they technically have the ammo there, but since it's at zero it won't let them use the gun.

So what is the highest amount in a stack you can add without it zeroing out?

The primary damage from a nuclear war is in disruption of atmospheric patterns due to dust thrown into the air and fallout.

A fully unleashed nuclear war would be the equivalent of two supervolcano eruptions - not quite extinction event level, but still pretty bad.

It really depends on if the NCR can use their artillery and air support to take it out before it does any significant damage. The NCR will take heavy losses, but their superior numbers will mean they win in the end.
