Actually not. They have around the same dex bonus as 10* crafts but the variance is way harder to cap and generally you get more variance with the same amount of dex thanks to Invade having huge attack.

Even the damage calculator shows that. Invades are best for classes with crit or weapons with little attack due to easier capping.

That's what I hate about the community. Like Uberchao said he didn't like affixing, all you guys attacked him. Someone posts a pic with less than 100 atk on units or less than 200 pp, everybody attacks them. Of course it would be better in the long run, but not all people have access to that kind of stuff (even if they are really cheap). Someone who mains uses invade and isn't a Fi, you guys F***ing attack them. They can do whatever the heck they want, and you shun them for some stupid reason. That is why I believe some people aren't getting into the community. People are pretty much blocking them out because they can't kill PD in less than 10 minutes. It would probably drive them to get better gear practice their gameplay, or change their skin color, but I feel like some of you are really just completely shutting them out immediately even if they have potential. You ostracize people that like BNS, an MMO with a ton of potential and might even hone their skills for PSO2.

Yeah, on a single element rod-based tree I end up with 12 points left over, and maybe three skills worth investing into.

Photon flare, which is 200 t-atk, but only a 45% up time; I suppose I could invest another point into After Burst for 100 t-atk in the downtime. Additionally, this would add to the subpalette clutter, and require reapplying the skill that leaves me open to attack, and could be spent spamming techs.
Technique Up 2 which gives a flat 75 base t-atk for 10 points
PP up 1 which gives 10 pp for 10 points.

I also have additional trees for other elements, and a tree exclusively for talismans.

In the current climate, faster kills does NOT increase your chances of earning better loot, it can only, and even then very rarely, increase the rate in which you get to roll your dice for that 0.0001% drop.

Fuck, even then, like almost every EQ that comes out these days are either dogshit or tied to a limited run system, which would defeat the purpose of faster completion anyway.

You can only fight PD once per EQ, PI is once per EQ, Magatsu is 4 times + a bonus with 0 gear dependency that drops fuck-all anyway.

The reality of the matter is that this game is casual trash where even the greatest of retards can be winners. Other than reaching the bare minimum of "hey at least have a grinded weapon" this game expects fucking nothing from you. And even then the game throws out enough welfare rares that you have to actively be trying to be using dogshit gear.

Going ballistic over gear and going out of your way to spend 10s of millions to get an extra 90~ attack total from the previous meta is just about as autistic as spending those same millions on expensive emotes.

At the end of the day both are fucking pointless.

Reminder that Invade is the strongest weapon in the game and that the current meta is to put at least 20 skill points into DEX boosts and to have at least 50 DEX on your mag. Don't have enough DEX boosts on your tree? Then you're not playing a real class combination. Any weapons other than Invade are for tryhards.
