I have a torrent of all the games music, Morali's OST, the Vortex Club party, all the licensed songs (most in lossless format), and all the albums they were taken from.

I don't even like Maximum Victory that much but even I can see that there was subtext in the AU and in episode 5. Victoria's clingy texts mirroring Warren's in the main timeline, Max's nightmare, the 'nice' version of their conversation at the Vortex Club party which bordered on flirting.
I don't think dontnod really intended Max/Vicky to be hinted at all until they saw there was so much fan art for it purely from the tsundere/rivals thing they had going, but by the end it's probably the 3rd most 'canon' Max ship after Pricefield and everyone's favourite c.uck

Also, I can't really see that you are a forgiving person when you are completely ignoring her caring side. We also have no reason to believe Victoria constantly bullied her into suicide. First of all, the main reason for what Kate is going through is what Nathan and Jefferson did to her. Then Victoria has what, 2 remarks about Kate, 1 FB post and that video link? Which by the way, she didn't directly send to her relatives or anything. Bullying someone to the point of suicide I understand as something very different.

I genuinely do not know. They took extra time, and you can still see some stuff was rushed.
Was it SE as a publisher pushing to get the game out? Seems unlikely since they already made money from people buying the season. Was it Dontnod feeling like people were getting impatient so they rushed? Unlikely since again they already took more time to work on Episode 5 and would have taken more if they felt they needed it.
So the only explanations left are a combination of not enough money to show what they wanted, combined with shoddy writing in certain areas where plotlines where just dropped.
Regardless of the reason, Episode 5 was a sad ending to an otherwise great, and ambitious, game. I wish with every fiber of my being that Dontnod succeeded with the finale.

I think there's potential to go back in the future and redo the ending with more time and money, but I don't know if Dontnod will consider it because:
1. They have been defending the endings and claiming it was what they originally planned (Not sure I believe this) and the only shortcomings where one ending being shorter.
2. They made their money and to ask for people to pay more for an ending would seem pretty greedy. I'm sure they're aware of crowd-funding but may not want to do it.
3. Most people seem to accept and like the endings, despite their flaws, so overall the reception would appear to be favorable.

I doubt anyone from Dontnod reads these threads anymore, if they ever did, so even though we're vocal in our grievances we are just preaching to other anons who already feel the same. The petition seems to be a dead end so the only thing we can do now is hope that by some miracle the ending gets the revisit it deserves or make up headcanons to satisfy personal feelings.

I honestly wouldn't mind if Square sees profit in the pairing of Max and Chloe. I mean the relationship they had its really beautiful and quite enduring. It's weird but they are my favorite couple, they are insanely cute and their entire dialogue doesn't seem forced as fuck like Bioware games.

Fair point. I actually forgot she was using William's old Polaroid most of the game. If anything, she was somewhat opposed to spending so much money on flashy new stuff because it costs so much and she couldn't afford it. But she could still take good shots despite having less technology.
Thinking of her with an HSc is pretty cute actually. I should have gone with my first thought and put it as hers.
I'm actually not too sure about Victoria now since she can afford all the new stuff nobody else can.

Yes but a firearm has its own unique aesthetics which only appeals to certain users. People see a Glock and say its ugly. However to another person that Glock is beautiful. That type of uniqueness appeals to me. Also guns and photography tend to go hand in hand.
