I was thinking it would be more like a quetzal, where you just right click and it swallows(carries) nearby targets, and removes their oxy meter to carry them places.

I'd be fine with it not being tameable if they flat out called it a boss monster, but this is just fuck you here's a cool thing we know you guys wanted but you can't have it.

Is there a way to make Quetzal XP grind less painful?
Maybe if I slapped some turrets on it and went on a killing spree, would that work? Low damage is a damn annoyance.

Are there any decent unofficial servers other than NFA PVP? The place is a fucking ghost town. I'd like to have at least several people on at any given time.

Check out the server hosting & advertisement subforum in the steam community.
I found a great server there with decent balance and at least 10+ people on at all times, and almost always 40-50+ on peak hours.

No thanks, that's what I'd like to avoid. I want a vanilla server with raised rates and a high population, that's it. None of this extra bullshit like level/damage adjustments, "events", or rules about what you can and can't do. I like the wild west style of the official servers. The only problem is they're too grindy and tames take too long.

Why just yesterday some douchebags attacked my stone hut and killed my level 111 raptor that was sitting outside (I found two implants on his corpse so he put up a hell of a fight) and a third guy unconcious on the ground (he ragequit and logged out?) so I looted the good stuff from him, dragged his body into the middle of nowhere and dumped him in front of some dilos. They offline raided me, but that's how shit goes, it creates grudges and enriches the PVP experience. I took down his tribe name and plan to slaughter any I see on sight without warning.

I think because the game is so grindy people don't really want to do pvp because they don't wanna lose their shit. And strong rules and administration are kind of a safeguard to that.

The server I play on has a bit higher rates and you can PvP and raid, but dinos on passive in a pen are off limits and you shouldn't mindlessly destroy everything.
But tribes can agree to total war and the rules no longer apply.

I put some plant X on my base and they shot down some guys pteranodon. In retaliation he killed one of my raptors and my Parasaurus. We agreed to a ceasefire and I reduced the targeting range of the plants, and war was avoided for the sake of keeping our shit.

You should get a Pteranodon or Bird so you can stalk them more easily and randomly pick them up when they are unconscious and drop em in the ocean or in the snow...

You should find out where they live and once they are offline just grab them and put them in random places on mountains and Carno island and such.

They won't know it was you, just that someone is fucking with them. Probably gonna need some C4 for when they log out inside their house.
