I remember talking to some tanks about how to deal with various mechanics in T9, way back when. The PLD gave me some long ass explanation as to how to prioritize their cooldowns and gauge how much help the healer was gonna need keeping them alive through the next big hit.

The WAR was just like 'I use IB on every tank buster, and maybe toss on some other CD if my health is under 75% or so.'

As a former PLD main who still loves the idea of the class and wants it to be viable... no, don't nerf Warrior, that's the last thing I want. We should buff the other tank classes so they can compete with Warrior on an equal footing, but not by making them all play the same. Something needs to be done to actually give the various tank classes unique utility, something that would make people want to bring them all to content for various reasons. Nerfs to one of the jobs will only hurt the role as a whole.

Except PLD has parry on top of block, can guarantee a block every 30s, and boost its rate by 60%. Block with current shields isn't bad at all. It's great with Thordan shield and it's only going to get better.

I have both at 60 and I can confidently say that PLD wouldn't be a burden in Savage if people played it as OT from the start. PLD mains are just too stuck in the idea of maintanking in Shield Oath and VIT accessories. If PLDs has offtanked in progression, they could have had close to 100% uptime on Sword Oath and similar DPS to WAR/DRK with no enmity problems when it's their turn to tank in A1S, A3S and A4S, and they'd have no trouble surviving because even without stacking cooldowns Sentinel is a huge 40% and they have Hallowed. But no, everyone wants to bash the boss and complain about enmity.
