Just finished the last story mission. First run through and I bumped it up to survival (from hard) at level 20-41.

It was an okay experience.

I kind of started to get bored of the game when I became too powerful. Stealth largely became useless because my damage and DR was too high. I played a rifleman and found an assault rifle that shoots two bullets at once -really- early on.

I don't want to handicap myself in terms of gameplay - I don't want to play the game and purposely not level a perk because I know it's better. I want to play as desperately as possible; careful level planning, consistent character theme etc. but in the end I feel like because of the design of the game will make you overpowered at the end.

What do? I want to enjoy it more. Maybe do another playthrough instead of carry on after the ending.

Was it a mistake to beat it on Survival the first time?

Should I try an unarmored melee build or something?

Now that I got my shiny new suit from the BOS I want to give my old one to my companion, but I don't want them gobbling up my fusion cores.

There was the doctor, a Molotov burned him alive as he tried to heal an agent.
Pain in my heart, I blew open the entrance and went inside.
Drummer boy ran up the stairs, like he was going to great me, then he pulled his gun. I put a shell in his head and saw Deacon was behind me.
One more shell in his head, falling down the stairs onto Drummer Boy.
Tinker rushed me, using his fists, hurting only himself. One more shell put him down, tossing him down the hallway.
Glory. I'm so sorry. They'll need a closed casket for you. I ran straight at her and put my gun in her mouth. One more shell and her head was gone.
Desdemona was hiding behind a table. I wish I hadn't seen her. One final shell in her neck. Don't even know how she spoke her last words.

I surveyed the room, the room of my family. Blood and gore everywhere. I held Tinker Joe's hat and studied the blood stains on it, I'll never be able to listen to him ramble on and on...
