Okay guys, need ideas for a weapon of choice
I got a sniper rifle to initiate fights with
I have an auto shotgun for the rest of it
But the big badguys are a problem(survival diff no weapon skills), what weapon would you recommend for this problem ?
I need a weapon to get rid of tough Legendary enemies and such, no weapon skills so anything goes, have gun nut and science up to lv 26 (3/2 I think), ammo sustainability should be a thing since i run into them from time to time.

Is there any way to get curie's reputation up very quickly? I was able to get Cait up just by picking locks a lot and want to get hers up so I can get that robo french maid.

I keep getting infinite loading screens when leaving the Prydwen, only at the part when you go on the mission with Proctor Ingram to get a power supply for LP a text box pops up right as the outside-Prydwen loading screen starts, but it goes right away so I can't read it.

Anyone else experience this? Though it sounds pretty specific

Sprinting and melee attacks drain it like crazy.

You should only wear it when you need it and fast travelling won't drain it, so just keep it in your home and bring it out when you need to clear a bunch of enemies out of somewhere.

I have about 30 cores now and use it all the time; there's plenty of cores in the game.

I've been missing out on completing sets because I assumed combat armor was the same as sturdy combat armor and junked a lot

I'm having a bit of an issue with Paladin Danse. After I got my BOS power armor I had him hold my t-45 armor pieces I was using and switched to the new armor. Now he's suddenly switched into the t-45 armor, and when I removed them his old pieces don't show up.

I thought I'd fix this by using some console commands to get some t-60 pieces to replace his old missing set, but I can only give him 2 pieces of that before he's can't hold any more.

I assume that he's still holding his old armor in his inventory, but they don't show up in the list. Is there any way I can get him to equip them, or if not, increase his holding limit so that he can put on the new pieces?

Is it ok to wear different armor types, /fog/?

Yeah, it's not super clear, especially because of all the adjectives tacked onto items now. There are three tiers of armour for Leather/Metal/Combat/Synth, which are just the regular version, Sturdy, and Heavy.

Incidentally, the Synth armour looks like trash no matter what variant of it you have. Unfortunately, it's the best non-powered armour in the game.

Nah he's still in his own frame, my old frame is still in the station where I left it. He's just replaced all the parts of his own armor with my minuteman t-45 set. I don't know why he'd switch considering I'm sure his armor was better, but he did and seems to be stuck like this now.

I can't even give him the t-45 set back because of this weight limit, even though he was holding wearing it plus holding a huge load of other stuff just a minute ago.

there are different tiers of gear.

so far I've found combat armor in normal, sturdy and heavy. metal in normal + sturdy, no heavy yet (too low level maybe?), leather in normal + sturdy, and raider gear in normal, sturdy and heavy.

Guys, why is my FO4 stuttering so hard on my PC?
I already got the ENBooster, put the game on borderless, lowest graphic settings and switched to aero theme on windows

turned off the in-game vsync and set up the one on my cardboard

i also open the task manager and set the fallout priority to high, but it still stutters like crazy

my computer has an ATI Radeon HD 5570 videocard and a 4x Intel I5 CPU 750 @ 2.67 GHz processor, and also 2GB of RAM

Is there anything i can do to make this game actually playable?

I have a HD5770 and an i7@3,40 with 6 gigs of ram and it still runs like absolute shit. Every hour or 2 I have to restart because it shits on my RAM, even on the lowest settings and resolution. Note I'm also under the minimum requirements.. It's unlikely you'll get it to work properly.

I need help on finding a good one handed melee weapon with a fast swing speed, I like how fast knives attack but I don't have any with a LOT of attack power.

am I doomed to use the slightly more awkward general chao's revenge or kremvh's tooth? I'm using the ripper right now and it really blisters my nuts when I get punched while chainsawing fuckers and I get staggered.

Come to think of it getting staggered in general is really fucking annoying

I'd use the super sledge but I usually get slapped by ghouls or bitten by things during the slower windup of the swing.

Asking again. Is there any quick ways to get rep with Curie similar to lock picking and Cait. Or do I have to do it the long way by being nice?

Died and retried, even the hardest enemies can be cheesed in some way like abusing pathfinding.

Only enemy I've used fat man on was the legendary deathclaw guarding Virgil's cave, I was 0 on all ammo types and had one mini nuke left.

Loading times are fucking long, I don't even know how to fix this shit.
Every loading screen in skyrim took about 5-10 seconds, now this game with the same engine (ok, upgraded engine) loading for 30 seconds to minute every time I change location. I already disabled autosave (completely) and it still slow.
I don't have SSD, but my pc is not shitty, 16 gb ram and gtx 780. My processor is kinda old, but it is still i5 with 4 cores in it. Dunno how to fix it.

It's pretty good I'll give it that. I enjoy the fact that it's not just a nuclear desert. It's nice seeing some green here and there and lots of water. And Boston is honestly amazing. It's much better than Washington was IMO. The narrow streets with enemies practically everywhere really give the city a tense feeling to it.

Anyone else had problems with missing companions? I finished the tower quest where you get clone Hulk and sent Piper back to her home by accident. Now she's stuck in the tower and I can only hear her dialogue but she's nowhere to be seen.
