I always forget to make good screenshots while playing, so picrelated is the only one with children. I don't remember any time they wanted to talk with each other. Also for some reason they know their father although they never met him.
Boy is hipster/egghead. Despite being loner, always want to hang out with mother. Fucking dormant.
Girl is hyperactive bydlo and always wears the same adidas costume. The only one in family who willingly clean the house.

for all the years i've been playing the sims i don't think i've ever had a family past their second generation. this is probably why i get bored with the game so often

i started watching sims streamers recently and im amazed by people who can give so much personality to their sims

Would I need to retorrent the entire game again in order to get my saves up to date? I think I've missed way too much for a patch or two to suffice and I doubt I'd find all the patches anyway.

Patch would be too big to make sense. You still can transfer saves from old version, I guess.

Could anyone please tell me the quickest way to fast-forward the timeline?

I want to make a new family but I'm sick of the same people being there. I want the game to progress through like four generations so everyone is new.

The only other thing I can think of is putting aging on shortest lifespan and waiting through speed 3, but then that's not so fast.

New build tools in sims4 is the one more reason I can never play old sims again. It was such a pain in the ass to change layout, so I usually build only large half-empty boxes without separate rooms.

Is there any way to do skylights without making the room technically outside? Every set I see requires deleting a chunk of the roof, except for one that is an opaque piece that fits into regular roofs but has a single preset slope and no flat pieces. That one comes with a light that I guess is somehow special to illuminate during the day, so maybe I could CaSt a roof texture that looks like glass and use that?

I don't know if it's still the case, but the last time I installed it, there was this weird bug where it would ask for Origin if it was installed to program files\electronic arts\the sims 4 or whatever the default location is. Moving the game to any other folder made it work and not ask for origin. (program files\the sims 4 for instance)
Case b, your crack got deleted by your antivirus. Either way, the game asking for origin indicates that crack isn't working for some reason, cracked game shouldn't ask for origin. That's the entire point of cracking it

Depends on the level of customization, I haven't really seen that much about it.
Sims 4 feels a bit restrictive to me, like it can be played the way they intended it to. I guess it's a bit better now with the updates, we'll see about the club thing.
Has there even been much word on it, did they describe how clubs work

I can't see that doing much since Sims 3 is 32bit application and it can address only up to 4GB
