It takes something like 70 dungeon runs to go from 50-60 on alt classes (after you've exhausted the quests). Which is something like 23 hours of grinding. The worst bit was from 50 to 51; but now that the 50 dungeons give xp, that's sped up as well.

The people who still haven't hit 60 on their first class blow my mind.

I'm mostly suprised that the iLVL cap didn't get higher, especially considering that we've been stuck on the same patch 5 months before this one.

What the fuck is system error -2146697211 on launching the launcher? Or "FAILED TO VERIFY VERSION", or "THE SERVER FAILED TO RESPOND" while patching?

I've never had any issues with FFXIV; this is the exact same setup I had two months ago when I played HW, but ever since coming back, and 3.1, I get one of these three errors on the launcher and it just boots me out. I tried everything; resetting internet options, clearing out config files and shit, doing a clean reinstall of the game, nothing works. Is anyone else getting this? Is it just me? What do I do?

Holy Bladedance doesn't matter because Rampart is enough for eating the one you'll get when your Knight has the Shield Oath buff (Rampart + Foresight if you want to really run wild), and you just HG the one you get when your Knight has the Sword Oath buff, which still leaves you with Sentinel and Bulwark sitting around being pointless.

The Vanu Vanu Beast Tribe stuff is pretty good.

Has a nice little story to it, has actual tangible progression on its visuals to show you things are happening, the different stages of it unlock more stuff like glamour/housing items but also increases the experience you get from doing it.

So by the time you're done with its story you have an additional aid if you seek to level your combat classes along with all the rest of the stuff you can already do.
