Because, they're playing face decks with the maximum amount of damage and high attack minions. They don't have any removal or stickty minions, and get mad when they can't win by turn 7 and 8.

As a CW, Zoolock is one of my hardest match ups if I don't get good value out of my brawl. Your minions are too sticky, you have taunts, burst, draw, and removal. Zoo will do well now that Warrior and Mages are countering the brainless face decks that Zoo usually struggles against.

The fact that you have to make a deck specifically to cater to him is an immediate counterplay in itself. It's like playing that one MtG gametype where you make a deck where there's only one of each card, so it creates a different strategy in being more thoughtful on what you have to use and when.

Not enough bombs to call this control. Cut the healbots for sure you have armor gain and they don't work well with varian. What are your biggest minions in collection? You could run stuff like acolytes of pain, armorsmith, cruel taskmasters, frothing berserkers or the 4/3 charge (though shredders are better), pre naxx control warrior used those and whirwinds. But you need late game bombs. Healbots, sheep, spider tank, defender of argus, evil heckler those are first in lane to cut when replacing.

They're the only class with clean removal available, though you could argue Rogue's have assassinate but not a single serious deck runs that.

If another class got clean removal it'd simply be soulless and homogenization, which is why Blizzard simply prints cards that have flavor to them (Enter the Coliseum, Brawl, etc). Though one can argue that the lack of straight-forward 4 attack minion removal can be a part of the priest "flavor" but that doesn't exactly excuse the ability for the Priest to run four instances of removal in one deck.

Entomb is good in every scenario in which the enemy has a consolidated threat.

Which is far from uncommon. It requires the same paramaters as MC to be good for fucks sake.

The only difference is you don't get the minion but you are allowed to do other things, like hero power or play other minions.

How can I improve on this? I'm open to all suggestions senpaitachi. The only thing I'm not budging on is the new cards, as it wouldn't be much of a new deck without them. Dupes also don't work in Paladin, like they do Warrior and Warlock, as Paladin can't survive as long as Warrior nor does it have the card draw of Warlock.

Hell, Brann might make Reno useless entirely, which makes the highlander deck meaningless. Avenging Wrath is too expensive, and does very little. I'd rather run a Pyro, Ooze, or even a BloodKnight/MC. Each card needs to pull its own weight in highlander decks.
