Does the break rate for the greed machine ever lower? Even characters with 6% chance it busts after 3-4 coins. Switching characters is not a viable way of farming this thing

Kamikaze can blow up tinted rocks, open up secret rooms, and does 40 damage.

The bean deals 21 damage + 5 over time, but to actually use it, you need to be extremely close to an enemy, which means you're at a much higher risk of taking damage.

Even butter bean is more useful than the bean, since if you're being cornered, you can use it to give yourself extra time.

Except if you have very low damage, explosive tears is a damage down in the fact that it delays your damage.
Here have an example :

That's the only difficulty, but Ultra greed pattern is quite simple. The fight is boring, not hard. You can beat him even with shit build if you have enough health.
On the other hand, Hush, while being boring too, can be nearly impossible with certain build (like no orbital mom's knife, or low rate of fire shield tear).

can you imagine if, instead of Greed Mode being a half-baked alternative mode, it was a special room type available any floor that has a shop (so up to the womb)?

Like Greed Mode, the "Greed Room" would keep summoning waves of enemies, you can either choose to fight maybe 5 waves of the generally more challenging enemies or push the spiked button as usual to turn it off.

The more you fight it, the harder the enemies it provides until eventually just being bosses that award nickels or dimes each wave, as opposed to the regular reward of 1-3 pennies per wave.

This way, you'd be able to really farm out the shops if you're a particularly skilled player (there'd have to be some cap on the greed rooms, though), but even less-skilled players would get at least an opportunity to get shit in your shops
