So I'm trying to build a wall around Sanctuary but I've run into a problem. I can't figure out a way to build the corners. I'm having trouble getting walls to snap together into a corner, and even if I wasn't I have no idea how I'd get an angle other than 90 degrees.

And why is the Institute replacing people with synths? Because that goes nowhere. They have no agenda to make them sleeper agents, they don't change their mindsets or anything, they just replicate people for no reason. And what is the deal with the synth gorillas?
Why is the BoS destroying technology instead of hoarding it? Even if they think that AI/Synths are heretic, why wouldn't they let their scribes study all the other technologies in the Institute so they could have supreme technological superiority by implementing the technology in their weapons and armours and bunkers?
And if the person couldn't be re-cryo'd, how did the main character got re-cryo'd again? And why did the main character got uncryo'd the first time?

After the ending of the Institute, you are head of it now, but that is it, nothing happens. It is like the game is froze in time because it doesn't go anywhere.

It's simple. Wherever you see height differences on the ground, it's better to put a Floor - Small object(s) down in order to make these differences disappear. More precisely, they don't dissapear but as you can "link" them together they provide a flat surface - and it's hell a lot easier to build on or around those. Aside from being visually much more pleasing (it can remove or reduce the visible gaps), every four side of them can be used to connect further objects to it. In pic related these blocks are not only serve as a base for the wall (keeping it's straight and at optimal height) but when I built the stair they made sure it perfectly fits to the place without clipping. And thus I didn't occupy more room than the minimum at the top, so I could build a Guard Post on the top of it.

Who thought this was a good idea? Yes, a pimped-out settlement with shops and whatnot could earn you quite a lot money. As for resources, even building an Industrial Water Pump could yield you a lot of Fresh Water that can be used as free healing item or can be sold for merchants (if I'm not mistaken it's possible to earn roughly 250 caps a day from it). Same goes for the plants you can grow there, not to mention you can make Adhesive from them which is valuable for crafting.

The NCR currency was doing just fine until their gold reserves got fucked up. People in the Mojave use caps out of tradition, but originally they were West Coast money because they were backed by the Hub's water reserves. They were also chosen because they're scarce, not common, and most of the machines for printing them were destroyed in the war.

Legion money is presumably the only currency accepted in Legion lands. The Mojave isn't Legion land, though.

On the East Coast there's no explanation for the use of bottle caps as currency. Everyone just does it and your character just magically understands it because Bethesda Fallout is bad fanfiction.

I tried out the mod that balanced enemy/player damage to make things feel less spongy, but everything became piss easy

Now I'm trying a mod that puts all damage back to the 'Normal' difficulty modifier of 1x, but only works on Survival.

So nobody should be a sponge, nor hitting me with 120mm cannons, but I can't stimpak shit away.

How the fuck do you get warnings of settlements which are under attack?

I keep fast travelling to places and get a random message saying "failed to protect X settlement".

My first ever PC game was Fallout 1 and I've spent thousands of hours on all the games. I even downloaded the shitty tablet game because it was something new. I was really looking forward to 4 and luckily got the Pipboy edition but now I just feel sort of sad and angry that I got duped into this.

I've got 80 hours in the game so far and will probably play for another 50 but that's purely because I like building settlements and even then there's no difference between this and RTS/Wasteland defence for New Vegas

This is the only redeeming feature in the game that it's been vastly improved and the fact that enemies now dodge and take cover is great.

That's all there is though, they've removed tonnes of content (to probably sell as DLC) and sacrificed the RPG element of the game. Hell, the slideshow at the end of the game telling you the outcome of all your choices has been replaced with a 20 second clip where only 10 words change depending on your choice on who to support.

Plasma weapons seem extremely rare pre lv 30, I managed to find one at arturo's and put the flamer mod on it, and it's fucking incredible. Ammo's very hard to find, but I did one of those clear this building of mutants for BOS and it just ripped through EVERYTHING in seconds.

Is there any particular area or enemy type to try and "farm" for legendary plasma weapon base?

I've noticed with other enemies it seems to be tied to usual weapon types (i.e. raiders are a good source for legendary pipe weapons or raider armor overlay pieces) although not EXCLUSIVELY; got some institute rifle bleeding damage legendary from a supermutant, also the legendary animals seem to have random legendary weapons occasionally.

I think there are a few fixed legendary plasma weapons from quests but those seem to be story related maybe? And I haven't done a lot of main quest, like I haven't gone to that doctor person yet, mainly screwing around with side stuff and settlements. BOS questline also seems to have been locked until I proceed with the mainquest.
