anything <77 alt/aug for packsize is good enough to get drops. even better if you can get magic monsters too. if you consistently run 70q + packsize maps you should be moving up past 75s. anything else is just bad luck.

day 1-2 of a league you won't be able to buy maps either, so you have to be able to get your own base somehow. whether it's cheaper to buy maps or spend currency rolling maps to get your own returns is probably a little different at this point

unless ive had "bad luck" in the current temp league, the flashback event and the 1mo, so the concept is meaningless because consistent bad luck just means the game works that way

if you're competing for rank1 or top20 or whatever trying to win a league demi then pretty much all of your currency goes towards buying maps

this is a good thing though. items and currency flowing down from top players is everything ggg could ask for

i dont think anyone has ever won a league demi playing strictly solo. everybody rotates maps in parties because its more efficient

it depends on the play style of the build. as far as i know totems are a good hybrid build as they don't take damage but if they do they have time to recharge and can still have 5k hp. there might be others but you need to run disi and then have some es gear mainly a helm and/or a shield(not required just recommended). you can ghost reaver to keep it up in battle or if you are some attack time stacking es jewels on hit might be enough but probably not. maybe for a ranger with that es quiver or a wander but probably not a wander because they are always shit and will always be shit
