TD's map layout is annoying as fuck and even after you get used to it it can still be a mess to navigate the remote areas. The chak gerent event is pretty cool but unfortunately the rewards are really lackluster, something that all of the HOT maps suffer from. Doesn't help that the reward track system is retarded as fuck. Theoretically I could help out with every single event on the map and still get close to no ley line crystals because I had to leave 5 minutes before the meta event progressed and awarded everyone with one of the big chests.

Yes.

Kinda depends on your build and preferred gamemode. Berserker trinkets are probably most useful for PvE since they maximize damage (since they fit on most the other classes too).
If you aren't quite ready to risk getting oneshot by everything in the game, celestial a solid choice too specifically for ele, since they can tap into various sources of damage and healing.
Lots of ele's get celestial trinkets and specially for different gamemodes with various armor sets and runes.

In any case, don't waste laurels on trinkets which focus on healing or some other niche without proper damage capabilities unless you want to use some niche build in WvW or something.

Those only really come into play once you start running fractals.You can buy said infusions inside the fractal hub with the currency you gain from playing fractals or through drops inside said fractals.
You can also get infusions from WvW which can boosts your stats for a very tiny amount.

I think there might be a bug that applies the one-time acquisition rule globally, across the three items. I got the upgrade items for the Whispers backpack, but not for the Priory one on a subsequent story run.

Can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on at the thaumanova reactor fractal on level 34?
First we went inside this room where we had to open some door but the girl on the radio said we failed (?) to save the people and there was nothing else to do.
Then we arrived at this radiation filled room where everyone instantaneously died by putting foot into it.
We tried for a hour but no chance, even putting the first cooling rod changed nothing.

I have literally amassed 3 stacks of leyline sparks while working on Hivemaster

I managed to sell most of one stack to various guilds trying to finish upgrades for mad dosh

Just look for TD taxis ~30m before the meta, go tag some of the easier events (clear Teku Nuhoch of chak, kill chak crown, etc.), then go to Nuhoch lane (assuming you know how to do it) so it won't fail and cut your crystal flow short, making sure to tag the chak waves that spawn. None of the other lanes have a chance in hell of failing, even in pub hands, so it's fine.

Also, just log on your Reaper and train all over any chak between you and your next cache, or any chak during the tons of meta events, and you'll amass a retarded amount of Nuhoch stashes, more than any other zone by far.

Get a staff, zerker gear (sub in a few pieces of valk if you aren't so good at dodging, turn them into zerk once you git gud) and a staff. Camp fire and spam your 2 and 5 off CD. You can also be a Tempest and use Air Overload now and then to stack a shitload of vuln + get some more damage into that cycle. Make sure to pack some blasts and take the persisting flames trait so you shit out might and fury by blasting your 2. And if tempest, overload Fire every so often for more might/damage.

Dagger/Dagger. Celestial amulet. Hoelbrak or Strength runes. Cantrips. Where in PvE you were a glass DPS at range, here you're a moderately tanky melee bruiser. Mesmer

Chronomancer. Take a shield or torch offhand and use that to make yourself a hard to kill cunt while spamming clones and shatters. Try to use sword to set up an immobilize->shatter combo. In zerk/marauders with full illusions you can kill just about anything short of a full bunker build with that and maybe a couple more skills.

I've played a lot more ele than mes (which shows in my descriptions) but mesmer seems to play largely the same in both gamemodes. Ele only changes because it's PVP playstyle is too low damage for the DPS race that is PvE, and it's DPS build is too glassy PVP.

Why is it so difficult to find a decent guild, in the game GUILD wars?

I thought the guild I had was okay, they did missions at an okay speed they're not too annoying or distracting in teh guild chat.

But just earlier today they started creaming themselves over the tranny npc in LA, and skipped doing the final guild mission because they'd rather go visit the NPC.

I mean he's been in there for fucking ages, I joined in on the conversations making sure to say "he" or "him" when referring to that NPC, and I got a lot of angry whispers telling me to be respectful. Told them trannies are mentally ill so now they're all going mental.

Where can I find a good guild that cares about gameplay that finishes missions/dungeons/raids/fractals with minimum uneccessary bullshit.
It's also a plus if they're bitter assholes who hate everything.

I keep my 5 femsuras and don't make any more.
I made up a personality for each of them, and make sure the look fits them. Occasionally I update a piece, but nothing major.
