It focuses its special abilities wherever the enemy you're locked onto (even if the game isn't showing you) is standing. If you have everything enemy in front of you, your flamethrower is going to hit everything. If you've got one behind you and it's what you're secretly locked onto, it's gonna turn around and flamethrower it.

Also Templeshooter's S-attack is the greatest thing and it's pretty impossible to miss with it on bosses as long as you make sure you don't let him target a trap first. Easy way to make sure you won't waste an ability is to attack with A first just to check what you shoot, and then tab around if it's the wrong target. Only real time I have issues with Temple, mounted or unmounted, is when I'm surrounded by swarms and he ends up locked onto an enemy in a less desirable spot and hits less with an AoE.

This is something they need to fix, though. The awkward targeting when you're riding a summon is the worst bug Sorcerer has. Worse than Salamion attacking snowballs, worse than everything attacking traps, worse than shit getting stuck on stairs (and if you mount a summon on stairs, you can progress through the map but the game will still count you as being on the stairs so enemies can attack you without you even being close) Just fix targeting, IMC

Yeah linker is worth it because joint penalty never stops being useful. I went pyro linker thaum and holy shit, next time I'm running another pyro to make INT actually useful. The only good that came out of thaum was being able to immediately see how bad int scales in this game using the con int switch. Equips matter so much more for damage without the long multihits in pyro2+ and psycho. Don't see how I'm gonna play in release without a meme dagger.

Played over 100 hours so far. The game is 5/10 at it's current state.

The bad:
Linear theme park quest progression which will get more bothersome the more characters you create.
Maps are designed in the same idea, big rooms connected with useless narrow paths.

The good:
Classes are fun even though they are unbalanced atm. Lot's of build possibilities.
OST is nice.

And if I should compare the grind part with RO1... RO had done it much better. You could have pulled the whole map if you had means to do so. In ToS you just run in one confined room and kill every monster in 5 hits.
Monster diversity is also pretty lame. Everything mob seems to be the same.

Arde dagger isn't another line of damage, elements just boost your damage lines by that much damage. Cafrisunset, Sacrement, and enchant fire add more lines of damage which get affected by blessing.

No, arde dagger's effect applies to all your hits but doesn't create any extra hit by itself.

Lemme explain it in a way it's easy to understand:

Say your normal attack hits for 300 damage. Okay that's cute. Now you use your blessing that adds 150. Your attack now deals 450 damage (let's ignore enemy defense for now).

Then you pop sacrament. Your attack now deals two separate hits:

300 + 150 (base plus blessing)
24 + 150 (sacrament's extra hit plus blessing)

Now you equip cafrisun, and you deal three hits:

300 + 150 (base plus blessing)
24 + 150 (sacrament's extra hit plus blessing)
14 + 150 (cafrisun's extra hit plus blessing)

Now you equip arde dagger and you still hit three times but for:

300 + 150 + 153 (base plus blessing plus arde)

I took C2 because I didn't like Sapper/Hunter skills and going back to Archer was a waste of time.

I haven't played around much with Counter Spell, but it seems like it could be strong in PvP. Same with Prophecy and Death Sentence, especially with the movespeed reduction attribute of Death Sentence leveled to max.

Resetting and Clairvoyance are pretty useless. It doesn't make sense for the cooldown of Resetting to be so much longer than the cooldown of Clairvoyance, because the former is useless without the latter.

Hopefully they let us use the Team PvP feature that already exists before the beta ends.
