You would think things would at least temporarily spike up just to clear that million milestone.
>>
>>122348696
It feels like it's been slow every weekend.
Plus we're now a ways from the deadline. People who know have probably already donated or will wait til the deadline is close, we only get donations from people who have just found out and want to donate right away.
>>
>>122348696
It has been but we're almost on monday and close to a million.

Otherwise, it seems to be going really smoothly, I can't wait for the 1mil update.
>>
>>122349649

Do you have experience with crowdfunding and extensions? I understand the deadline rush, but I fear that the second time it will be harder.
>>
>>122351236
It's basically back to normal now they got the extension. Slow weekends and a big rush towards the end. I hope it can still keep up a good pace on weekdays though.

So many people are still hearing about the game and so many people donated low and may upgrade if they really need to later. It will be fine.
>>
>>122351236
There is literally always a rush at the end. I doubt the backers for this were even completely exhausted by the rush for the extension since we cleared it with more than 24 hours to spare and the extension may not have been common knowledge to everyone. The definite ending date has been broadcast to everyone with even a passing interest in the campaign meaning the full set of donators will be able to participate in the final final rush..
>>
A substantial rush is no longer guaranteed now, we had a fuck huge rush ti the extension, meaning a lot of people did what they were going to do for last minute early.

Now, of course there will still be a rush, but it probably isn't going to be a $450,000 rush.

I doubt it will only go up 50k in 20 more days.

I know Crowdcharts' predictions are dogshit, but it's still trending toward 96%. I think we can swing a 60k rush.

It's probably gonna get to like 90% prediction as Black Friday looms, but even then...
>>
>>122356313
It was like 99% the day we hit 900k, and it's steadily dropping, it doesn't take what's happening into account, positive or negative, there is literally no reason to even look at that estimate.

They also split days in a way that doesn't make sense and have giant errors, the site is pretty useless in general.

We've had better weekends.

Weekend #1: $22,344
Weekend #2: $36,117
Weekend #3: $21,454
Weekend #4: $33,864
Weekend #5: $61,765

This weekend might struggle to pass $20,000. I've been keeping up with daily numbers at a different time than Crowdcharts, but that will give you a rough idea. People lost their edge after the extension.

I donated 30 bucks early into the campaign and was sad to see it not be that close near the end. Then the extension happened (which I didn't even know you could DO in these things) and I got some hope.
That said, it's still chugging along quite slow.

I think I'll definitely toss another 30 in.

If the pace still isn't up to snuff, I'm mulling over tossing in more. I really want Kimlinh Tran to make cat puns for me, but that's $350.
I can probably spare the money, but that's a line of thinking that can make you broke pretty quickly.
>>
>>122371164

How about this...Toss in whatever under $350 you want, and if you post the screencap, I'll send the voicemail reward I get to you.

I never really played Skullgirls so that reward isn't really important to me.

Seems that way, barring a huge Youtuber like Markiplier doing a video on it.
>>
>>122380762
The Super Best Friends and Maximillian and Yo! Video Games did a video/played it/interviewed Mike Z. They're getting push, but for some reason it's been slow. It's disappointing cause it looks to be a good game.
>>
>>122380762
I don't think Mark will do it. There was a charge on his page and got a fucking stupid number of likes on it, like 3x the next highest number of likes and it hit top comment, but he didn't even acknowledge it.

He also follows Game Grumps, and they played it. There's no way he doesn't know about it, he just isn't interested in playing the prototype.
>>
>>122380471
If only our current pace was that good.
>>
>>122380471
I think it's just because it's the weekend. We'll see how much the pace has really slowed down on Monday. At least it's guaranteed to reach a million today though.

Those were quite a while ago at this point; the Grump/Best Friend rush lasted quite a while, but it's long since run out of steam.

Max streaming it didn't help very much, he's a Fighting Game guy, and so are his fans, just illustrates the difficulty in going from a Fighting Game, a genre whose fans are small in number but high in dedication, to an RPG, which probably has a bigger fanbase, but they lack the Hype Factor.
At least Simmons liked it enough to do a followup video asking people to donate.

>>122381402
If not him, then someone similar like Jacksepticeye (probably shares a lot of Subscribers, so effectively they're more or less interchangeable.)

PewDiePie is TOO big, to the point that he charges like 20k to endorse stuff. He's fucking untouchable; he doesn't need us, and he doesn't want us, he'll be making millions off of Happy Wheels and Agar.io until the end of the internet as we know it.

>>122382062
The scariest point will be around Black Friday; the really for realsies Final Final Week is right after it. Let's hope we're not too far away by then. Maybe some people want Backer-exclusive rewards as Christmas Presents? I sure as fuck want that Roti plush.
>>

>>
>>122383814
It absolutely could if the donation rate stays this low until the end and people don't have enough left over for a 200-300k final push after bleeding themselves dry to get us to 900k.
>>
>>122384190
fuckkkk
>>
>>122383814
It has a chance to fail, but I'm not worried at all with all the people hearing about the game for the first time. Especially after the first rush was cut short there'll be a lot of people to provide the rush next time. I think that once the weekend is over we can see at least 20,000+ days again.

This will never get funded, because the fucking indiegogo trailer doesn't explain the costs, development cycle and what to expect. It's instead a game play trailer. Let's be honest, they don't know marketing for Shit. They have all these friends in the industry and it's still not enough.
>>
>>122388789
they tried going the Explain Dev Costs route and all it got them was a fuckload of armchair accountants that couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that outsourcing art can cost more than minimum wage

you really think that a video explaining how 1.5 mill is actually only going to cover 40% of the total cost of the game, the rest of which is being provided by a publisher, will do more to help this than hurt it?

I think the way they're running this campaign is a direct answer to what happened when they did the last one.

>A shaman renowned for his passionate drumming which brought forth departed spirits, Tatanka's life was forever changed by a simple errand boy. Mistaking his nameplate for that of the Great Warlock Tanaka who lived next door, the hasty courier delivered the wrong package of mystical ingredients - with disastrous results.

>Attempting to summon the spirit of his next client's dead wife, Tatanka instead called forth an ancient spirit of mysterious origin. Though the two have since forged an uneasy alliance, neither is happy with the current state of affairs. Unable to rid himself of the irritating specter alone, Tatanka travels the world seeking an exorcist skilled enough to sever the bond.

But that sentiment applies even in the original context. The word 'based' does not literally mean "an abbreviation for the expression 'Thank you, <word> based God'."
Even at that point it was a colloquialism. Saying that your idea of 'based' is correct but the way it has actually been used for over a year by all of 4chan is not is self-centered and nonsensical.
>>
>>122432945
>but the way it has actually been used for over a year by all of 4chan is not is self-centered and nonsensical.
Except that hasn't happened, you're literally misinterpreting something and assuming a definition because of the context, the context isn't wrong, no one is talking about the literal definition, they're talking about the meme definition that has gone over your head.
>>
>>122433116
Then what is the meme definition?
>>
>>122433116
here are some examples from searching for 'based' on a /v/ archive. These are examples from the first page of results that are not used in a context that makes sense with the dictionary definition of based.
https://boards.fireden.net/v/search/text/based/
>The lecturer's were based
>based boot
>Based Shants and motherfuckin BOMBERMAN
>Based Shu and Sony
>Based Guatemala
It's clear from the context that 'based' is used as an adjective that is somewhat synonymous with 'good'
this is how the word is now used
get over it
>>
>>122433234
Meme definition comes from some rapper, really don't remember who but that's where this was picked up from, hence "wigger". Definition is basically commenting on being yourself, not sure of a better way to write that out. Here, I will give an example.

Let's forget the past couple years for a second, Nintendo still doesn't offer DLC, the statement they made about how they wouldn't do that because they prefer to release finished products still stands.

So when they put out a game and say it has no DLC, and say shit like that, it's "THANK YOU BASED NINTENDO" because they're acting the way that Nintendo is supposed to act because it'st he way they do act. It's not that it's good. Donald Trump throwing a hissy fit is based because that's who he is.

>>122433753
>It's clear from the context that 'based' is used as an adjective that is somewhat synonymous with 'good'
And again, you prove nothing past the fact that it is going over your head yet again.
>>
>>122433868
How does your definition not apply to Tatanka?
His job is to be an interesting character that people want to play with. His appearance, demeanor, and description create a cool character that someone will be excited to play with and learn about in the full version of the game.

Tatanka is based and you are a faggot.
>>
>>122434217
I didn't say he wasn't based, I asked what you were pretending "based" means, since you clearly weren't using it correctly since you gave no context in which that character was "based", you then even flat out showed you didn't know.

Man, it's a word, I corrected you, you know better now, why drag this out? You don't even have to admit you're wrong, you can just stop. I know I'm going to, since I made my point and you're clearly going to continue making this some kind of fight.
>>

Yeah, some of these more recent characters kinda sound like they wouldn't fight, just offer some sort of combat buff, like an Assist or whatever.

I hope they will be fully playable though; we're getting close to the 27 non-guest Incarnations they've said the game will have and still have yet to see several from the Trailer, plus one every 50k up to 1.5mil creates 30 slots (29 in this case because they didn't show one at 50k) so I guess we'll see.

>There might be a rush in the last days, but it's mostly gonna be the same people sparing what they can
There is no MIGHT about the final rush, it always happens literally every single campaign.
and it isn't the same people, there are a ton of slackers who watch the campaign and don't donate at all until the end. TFH had 800 new backers each of the last two days, more than they gained on any other day except for the first (although there's about a week of backer data before that which has been corrupted)
>>
>>122458948
should Lab Zero have sat on their hands for 4 months instead?
>>
>>122471839

What do you use as a source for that?

I've been using crowdcharts to monitor indivisible and it doesn't do backer numbers. (I use the daily numbers because while 0 to 80k is really visible on a cumulative chart, 1M to 1.015M is not
>>
>>122472184
>it doesn't do backer numbers.
crowdcharts does do backer numbers in daily progress, it's just that sometimes it will fuck up for a few days and not register any and then register 3 or 4 days at once. I assume that this is only a single bug with the backer tracker and the numbers are fine any time when they aren't zero or a really large number following a string of zeroes.
>>
>>122472184
Crowdcharts is really shitty honestly; it sometimes glitches out and doesn't track any new Backers for several days, only to dump them all on a single day, and it's Prediction assumes that it maintains the current rate all the way to the end, when it never does.

Look at pretty much any ended campaign on Crowdcharts or Kicktraq or whatever; they pretty much always get a huge spike near the end, even when it's already funded by then.

What's the deal with Black Friday anyway? You typically find better deals after Black Friday, when stores are getting rid of things they didn't sell. I remember one year Home Depot had these huge cases of AA batteries that they were practically giving away because they had too many left over. Those things lasted me forever.
>>
>>122473712
It means people will blow their money on that instead. At least that's what I assume people are getting at.
>>
>>122473712
It depends on the item. Game systems and TVs in particular go for really low deals on Black Friday.
>>
>>122473712
you don't by AA batteries for a christmas gift
the big ticket items like tvs, video game consoles, etc. also get big discounts and thus will soon be out of stock.
and to a lot of people it's a tradition. getting up early, fighting hordes of other shoppers, it gets the adrenaline pumping.

I'm doing my best not to stress about this but it's hard.

At this point, I would just not look at the campaign until after the end because my heart can't take it mindlessly looking at/refreshing Indiegogo every hour.

If all the Well Wishers and Audiophiles bought the game we'd be well on our way.

There's also all those $1 donators. Why even bother.
>>
>>122486385

I decided to throw in another $100 even though I've already spent an excessive amount of money on this thing. I really hope we can maintain momentum.

Anyway on the bright side the new-donator numbers are still going up and a pretty decent pace. The more people who dip in for a few dollars during the campaign the stronger the final push will be.
>>

Well Wisher is the 75$. Plus, it's useless to think about how to raise the campaign at this point. If this fails, well, it fails.

>I would proffered a smaller rooster (10~) if that would make the game cheaper to fund.

Agreed. Some of those designs are just plain boring and uninteresting.
>>
>>122488923

I think the bulk of the work in this game is going to be making enemies and environments and story shit not the characters.

Remember they're aiming for a 30-40 hour long RPG with real graphics instead of your typical 8-bit run of the mill indie junk. I think $30 is more than reasonable. I paid $80 for Chrono Trigger when it was new.

That's the problem with these 1+ million dollar campaigns. You need more than the true believers. Even fair-weather fans and contributors are important. At this point the clash between IGG and the holidays is unavoidable, so there isn't much use in arguing about. Just gotta hope enough people aren't swayed by the deals.
>>122487592
Yeah, everyone here and everywhere else not mentioning Black Friday, holiday shopping and all the AAA console releases is freaking me out. It's like trying to ignore a pissed off 800lb Gorilla in the room. In some places Black Friday is literally a live or die situation. I don't know how an indie game crowdfund is supposed to compete with that sort of mentality. Without an extension we would have needed to reach the goal by the skin of our teeth. It'll likely be the same with the extension.

Some people like contributing little amounts to every project that interests them on IGG. I remember a week ago seeing a $1 donation from a mom that had done a children's book campaign. Maybe another tier or two, but at this point spending any more would be irresponsible. But I might change my mind the closer it gets to the end if they're really hurting.

I was thinking of putting in enough to get one of the Skullgirls VAs to send me a voicemail and have them just read the lewdest shit I can find.

But then I realized that'd be a horrible waste of funds that I do not have just to get my rocks off.
>>
>>122536997
I put in 500. I'd put in another 500 if it looked like it might help save the campaign. Not interested in the 750 tier and honestly not interested in anything above either, just care more about the NPC and want the game to make it.

I'd probably only add 5 at a time for people who were offering to match donations or to participate in a raffle.
>>
I'm at 500... I'm considering, instead of upgrading to a thousand, having a second account through my girlfriend where I nab the $500 tier a second time. I don't care that much about the NPC in the game. I'd rather be able to give the copies away to friends and have a few extra things like the VA call and a second statue to sell/keep.

Is this feasible? Does it make me a bad person?
>>
>>122540490

Except for the people who only care about Skullgirls as a fighting game it would make sense that Skullgirls fans are Lab Zero fans which would make them Indivisible fans too.
>>

maybe consider asking your friends to donate instead? I understand wanting to help but if you aren't interested in the higher tier rewards I don't see much reason to upgrade your pledge.

maybe he really want the game funded
>>
>>122542267
I, uh, I have asked my friends to donate. I've asked everyone I know to donate to the point of kind of annoying them.

I'm willing to put another 500 in if it would help the game succeed, so I'd wait til the last day and see if it really needed the help. If it did... I think I'd prefer a second $500 tier instead of going from 500 to 1000.
>>
>>122542225
Skullgirls and indivisible are two completely different genres, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Skullgirls fans ended up not being indivisible fans
>>
>>122542640
considering how small the initial burst was compared to where we are now, that's pretty safe to say.
>>
>>122542640
Yeah for the people who like Skullgirls as a fighting game like I said. The people who like Skullgirls for the characters and world are probably more inclined to like Indivisible too.

I would think that there's more fans of Skullgirls who like the world and the characters due to all the Skullgirls fan content rather than people who are fans of it as a fighting game because less people seem to actually play the game, but I don't really know.

Hell, I've been considering streaming games while having a facecam of myself as Razmi, Parasoul, Bloody Marie, or Filia to see if I could raise funds to then donate to Indivisible. Main reason I'm not is because I doubt I would get any and I would be making more money just taking on extra shifts at work (which is what I'm doing now, hoping to raise my tier from 175 to 250 soon)...

Fun Fact - Shovel Knight's actual budget would have been over $1.4M. The devs took a massive paycut and took loans from their families for five months to get the game done, banking on sales to break even and cover the costs for DLC production. Backers had no idea that the project was literally a stone's throw from getting canned.

Lab Zero already went that route for SG, an IP they don't even own. There's no more time for that nonsense. Gamers need to know the true cost of business now.

Crowdfunds never go fast in the Middle, it's always fastest at the Start and at the End: The first day was still our best day with over 80k, but the Pre-Extension End created new 2nd and 3rd best days, leaving the second day at 4th. Now that a new Middle has been created, it's slowed down considerably, but should still ramp again enough to make it.

>>122582224
>Fun Fact - Shovel Knight's actual budget would have been over $1.4M. The devs took a massive paycut and took loans from their families for five months to get the game done
The budget they outlined was incredible bullshit. It doesn't take $10,000 a month per person to make a game. It should have cost half that at best and that's being generous.

>"Oh but that's including office space and licensing cost for software!"
First off, software licensing isn't that much and there is plenty of options out there at lower cost. Secondly, office space is absolutely not required. Office space is a luxury, not a necessity.

>"But some people can't produce efficiently without a strong leader hanging over them all day!"
So i'm paying extra for weak willed faggots who will goof off every chance they get? No thanks. With skype, screen sharing software and the internet you should be able to get the same work done no problem.

The fact is indie teams with hard workers who lower their cost by living in cheap areas and communicating over the net instead of renting expensive as fuck office space have the advantage. They can make a game for cheaper and make profit easier.

$10,000 per month is a reasonable amount for in-house talent.
$5,000 per month is a reasonable amount for out-sourced talent.

The extra $5,000 really does just go to paying for office space. That's how ludicrously expensive office space is. Is the privilege of working in an office worth losing out on double the amount of workers? Or an extended timeline to create a more polished product? In my opinion it's not and so I won't fund indie developers who choose to go that path or live in outrageously expensive cities like San Francisco.

Yes, I know Lab Zero doesn't live in San Fran but LA is still expensive as hell.
>>
>>122588296
it's case by case, but crowdfunds are usually a reverse bell curve. We did get a strong boost in the middle thanks to news of the 900k extension getting around, but that might mean less of a boost at the end.

I run a multi-million dollar company with no office. If I had an office I wouldn't be where I am right now. Not every business requires an office, this is a fact of business. It's a vanity thing for some businesses and it's a giant money sink.

If this were a team of 30-100+ people then yes, an office is absolutely necessary. For a small team like this it's pure vanity and/or weak willed workers who can't be trusted to get their job done.

Why do people talk like large cities are really that expensive to live in as if it really matters when it comes to game development? Lots of game studios are in large cities and nobody ever compares the costs to make those games in relation to where the companies are located.

Thinking that the amount of money they want to make the game relates to where they live is no different than saying that all game studios should move out of California so that they could pay their employees less and save a lot of money on game development.

If large cities were so terribly expensive to live in then none but the richest people would live in them at all. Sure you have to be rich to live in any city's downtown area, but just because you live in LA or San Francisco, doesn't mean you're a stupid poor person who asks for a lot of money to do something because you're living in a place you can't afford to live in.

If Lab Zero lived in a more inexpensive place to live they'd still be asking for the same amount of money because the industry standards are the same everywhere and they want to at least be able to approach industry standards in regards to pay.

IGG is trash because it let's people choose between fixed funding goals and flexible funding. All this does is cause confusion among backers because frankly they're a bunch of morons.

Do you know how many times i've seen people say "I don't use IGG because it's not guaranteed to get the money it needs to get made" even when it's a fixed funding project?

With a game as diverse as this do you really think it's not going to get a dozen stories talking about how some horrible racist/sexist douchebag trolled them? They'll get funding easily.
>>
>>122593047
Provided it all definitely works out that way, sure.

If not, it could screw with people's incentives to back what they perceive to be a fully funded game, possibly cause L0 to unveil stretch goals before they wanted to or make announcements they were saving for later. They might even halt plans they had to boost funding if it was looking bad. Some people may not even hear about it getting un-funded and not donate at all when they were intending to if it looked like it wasn't going to make it.

It'll be a lot more confusing for new backers who find art blogs like tumblr covered in fanart showing that it already got funded. They might not even bother going to the IGG page at all.

Like you said, backers are morons.

>Not every business requires an office
And what makes you think that this one doesn't need an office? Are you a game developer? An Indie at least?

The fact that people can make things without office doesn't mean that everyone must do the same. I know how it feels to work with limited sources and even with that made good profit with that, but that doesn't mean that only because I could everyone must do the same.

If you want a better and faster work go for what you can get and don't limit yourself only because other people say it.

I don't care what industry averages are. The whole point of indie is it's INDEPENDENT to the norms of the industry. It's malleable and so on a smaller scale it can do things bigger companies can't. Don't quote industry norms in the indie world, shit is disingenuous as hell.

10k/man/month was a number that shovel knight also used for how much their game really cost to make after you factor in all the money they had to borrow to finish everything.
that's the minimum number you can't get around unless dev work isn't the day job for your employees (and you can push back your release date by about a decade if that's the case) indies aren't immune to these costs but bigger companies usually have a lot of overhead they have to deal with in addition to those costs.

For the record, I believe that you are actually in charge of a multi-million dollar company now.
>>
>>122606603
The worst thing a company can do is assume consumers are for the most part intelligent, well informed and know what they want. There are highly specialized niche markets where this is true but in most cases it's not the case.

For video games it's pretty clear dummies are a factor keeping this project from reaching it's potential. For every person whose informed that this is a fixed funding project there are 10 people who never even bother to comment or ask who will avoid backing this altogether.

Relying upon the consumer to actively look up this information and ask people is bad for business. This project would have done so much better on KS even if it did need to raise 1.8 million instead of 1.5 million. Mike's loyalty to IGG was misplaced.

Phoebe was one of the Titans in Greek mythology, most notable for being the grandmother of twin archer gods Apollo and Artemis. The in-game Phoebe carries a bow that shoots spears instead of arrows and is a single mother. Also, she’s big and buff. Don’t mess with her.

I bet you're one of those guys who makes wild assumptions about people because you might not like an opinion they have.

Crunch time is a reality of the world. Whether you're working for a major company or you're simply an artist doing a commission for a private citizen. If you make promises to get something done by 'x' time and fail to do so either by circumstances beyond your control or simple laziness it's your responsibility to crunch and get it done.

Should crunch time go on for months and months with no break? No. Is crunch time often abused by larger companies to mistreat employees? Yes. Doesn't change the fact some people abuse employers the other way though. In that they cause delays weeks, months and sometimes even years then make no effort to catch up. The world doesn't operate on your special snowflake schedule. If you fuck up big time you need to own it and crunch.

No need for you to get so angry with me just because you make arguments on the basis of you not knowing what a word means.

>it could split them at fucking noon and it would still be a useful sample
No, it wouldn't, because you have no metric for what an actual day cycle is, that would literally make the numbers entirely worthless, how fucking stupid are you that you think the night of a day and the start of the next day are the same day? You're not finding out what it makes in an actual day, just a random arbitrary 24 hour period that is skewed as fuck since it makes all the spikes randomly cut.
>>
>>122630892
the same relative crests and troughs in donation rate over a day repeat every 24 hours. it doesn't matter if am is packaged with the following pm or the previous pm, you're still going to have the dip at night, the boost in the morning, the steady increase over a work day, and the boost in the evening before everyone goes back to sleep.
>>
>>122631123
>it doesn't matter if am is packaged with the following pm or the previous pm, you're still going to have the dip at night, the boost in the morning
You sound exactly like someone who believes the predictions the chart gives out.

You're literally refusing to acknowledge any factors beyond night and day occurring, which means the only numbers you want is the average amount per day over the course of the campaign, which is also saying you literally don't care about what actual days or their rates look like.

Do the extremely basic math yourself and stop going on about how you can't understand the concept of reality influencing numbers. You don't need a useless chart to tell you what the campaign is at and what it has raised so far.
>>
>>122631373
differences between days only really make a difference during the peaks of a day so whatever day those 2 hour peaks land on is the one that matters for determining how days are different.

More like 20% if you were actually present for a lot of the days with spikes that got split by this nonsense, but it's not like someone as willfully ignorant and rash as you would actually pay attention to facts before making arguments for stats you know are garbage and then using it as an excuse to shitpost random trash.

part of the spike occurring on the previous or latter day of the main part does not keep the spike from showing up in the statistics unless days alternate wildly, and they clearly don't. it's a relatively smooth increase and decrease that lasts over 2 or 3 days, not something influenced because the time the days split is off by a few hours.

Annie appearing in Indivisible would be a wonderful event if it means she won't waste dev time being put into Skullgirls.

Has anyone managed to beat the boss without Razmi?

I scraped through with her at one bar and everyone else at two. The help she provides even with just one makes a huge difference in that fight. I'm not sure Ajna's healing would be enough to keep the team going.
>>
>>122638521
I could see myself doing it with only Ajna's healing. But only if I also had Razmi's down attack.
>>
>>122638521

I don't think so, Ajna only can cure 500 to everyone, but that boss can deal like 1000 to everyone and without Razmi slow attack that boss would kill the party in 2-3 turns.

>>
>>122639121
I didn't know what it did either but it only took me one try. I was careful to keep Razmi's special ready at all times and the boss couldn't power through that fast enough as long as I blocked every attack he did.

I've done it a few times. I think it's a muuuch harder challenge than the secret boss. You can't miss a single block, especially the quick attack, because that does the least damage of all his attacks when blocked.

Ajna's heal is nowhere near Razmi's, but if you pick the right times, you can stack a lvl 2 heal and a lvl 1 heal in a combo, which gives you 1250 hp. What makes things really hard is that you can only get max 2-actions per character for the fight, so that means less meter gain overall. Pick your attacks wisely.

It's not a joke.

The Indiegogo is in such a weird space right now.

It had a rush for the extension get that has petered out now, and I have no idea what will happen.

I am willing to throw massive amounts of money at this, but half a million is a lot, so I can't do it alone.

I am strongly tempted to take a survery of people willing to add extra to their commitment just to feel less unsure.

They chose the hard path on Indiegogo. It just got longer once they let us know about the extension. Any chance of an unprecedented final push (I seriously don't know of any other million dollar campaigns that made 45% of their funding in the last five days) just went down the tube once people became aware of the percentage/dollar value necessary for an extension. I think it was going to get funded either way, though. The difference is that the SG IGG was inspiring and unexpected. The Indivisible IGG has been nerve-racking.

So is the campaign going to have to rely on a second rush? The first one was cut short and more and more people are still hearing about it, but it pretty much has died down now. I don't doubt that it won't succeed, but the closer it gets to goal before it nears the end, the less that will have to be made up during the final rush.
>>
I'm not that worried. Every amount gained after the $1M closes the gap so much compared to where the campaign started last week. If it can even hit $1.2M by the last 5 days, the funding is in the bag. No way over 16,000 supporters are going to sit back and watch this project sink in the last week with the goal so close. Minor pledge upgrades alone could fund this thing at this point.

At the rate of 10k per day, 1.2 mil with 5 days to go won't happen. The thunderclap will provide a boost and likely get us there, but there still remains the issue of raising 300k in 5 days.

I wish like with the % requirement to get an extension, IGG also could let campaigns switch to flex funding if they hit X% of their funding goals. The possibility of the campaign getting close but not funded in time does seem like a possibility.

Mike's right to be concerned about the extension . Under the normal period, if Indivisible failed they could just lay low for a while and try a less-desirable deal, but if the extended campaign fails, no publisher will want to the touch the game.
>>
>>122719657
It goes to Indiegogo, who hold it for safekeeping for another two weeks or so, until the campaign ends. Then, if it's successful, Lab Zero gets it. If it's not, you get a refund.
