TL;DR DE wants you to take longer so you'll want to spend plat to attempt to minimize grind, of which they've been maximizing by destroying any method of going fast known to the general population. Also, "loot" is pointless in shitframe, unless killing a boss literally makes him drop the prime part, there is no point in loot increase if you arent a shitter with 0 OC/NS/NEURODES, you want to go fast to finish faster to do the X amount of runs you need to get the Y parts you need to finish Z, where X is any number between 1-999 due to RNG.

I'd say take nova, and prime them both for the slow (or neutral) and damage increase, but remembered you can't prime hek in raid anymore - so suspect you can't on the normal node.
Hek, I mostly did with an opticannon at a distance, to avoid those fucking mag procs. It's just a waiting game, since you can only do a certain amount of damage per cycle of the faceplate.
For Lephy, something like the sudacor is really good. Don't think there's a damage cap. Lots of bullets, fast - aim at the pink bits.

You should be able to play it fine with Excalibur (Exca is actually really good now).
