Box for Water tank, Cag is great support on earth teams, Zeta needs a fire team and can't carry on her own because she needs you to be capable of forcing the enemy into break mode fast, Yuel is utility+dps, Vampy is good but you probably won't have the weapon pool to support her without a massive amount of Celeste magna grinding. Get Silva for water DPS or look into making your MC a Sidewinder as soon as you finish getting Dark Fencer. Do be warned that if you pick Box or Cag they won't show their worth until they hit level 100 at which point your grind will pay off.

I've written FAQs for /mbgg/ before, but I was more comfortable in the game I wrote them for than 7K. I can offer basic advice (rubies for masteries, fuse shit to 6*, upgrade your 7K and do your guide quest) but that's basic knowledge that can be searched on fb.

Plus, if there's anything writing FAQs has taught me, it's that no one reads them anyway.

I've been reading/skimming a lot of the 2ch threads for BGHS. First, pic is the result of some a player going for complete gacha - that is, getting every 4-star from gacha. The number they gave was 10万, so assuming that was the cost, that was $820

They've pointed out some things:

I was expecting Idols to be around at least a month, since Yukata was around for one and a half.

Business-wise, it was really dumb move, especially doing it 3 times in a row, along with adding the weapon gacha. Yes, now people have to pay up to get what they want, but now anyone who pays will have an abnormal amount of dupe crystals, so if they ever go back to allowing trades or adding cards to normal gacha, they can trade directly for the entire set instead of having used up crystals to complete previous limited gacha. Their numbers are going to look good for this month maybe, but they're going to fall hard later.

The biggest problem for me honestly isn't the lack-of trade-ins, although it still is part of it, but just how continous shit has been.

Three limited in a goddamn row, each lasting, two weeks. Hell, idols was less than two weeks even with all the prep time.

Halloween and, most especially, Maid, were out of left field. Halloween was "okay" because of all the gachca tickets plus gems could equal around two 10 rolls.

It will be very difficult but it's possible. Mainly because the lower difficulty event battles actually do drop the items needed to get Chun Li. However, these battles have lower drop rates (and are lesser when they drop) than the higher difficulty battles so you're gonna need to grind it out for a long time.

I think they had something about the maid collab for a month? I only found Miki's art there, they had the original 5 otherwise, so didn't think much of it until the announcement in the days following up to it. I would definitely go to the maid cafe and buy some stuff too if I could, but the execution in-game is really really bad. Even just comparing Halloween to Maids, Halloween had much better quality. They could've at least added a new style of maid outfit. But because of how copy-pasted the maid outfits were, I'm thinking they'll do something equally lazy for Christmas.

There wouldn't have been any issue if they allowed trades for Idols, kept them around longer, or allowed trade-ins within the same theme. We'll get a better idea of their intent once info on December cards comes out, but optimism is low.

Otomos. Even at B-rank there's no buddy-limits thanks to that generous L25-threshold, so you're likely to face people running Earth Swords, Sorcerer's Shields, or even defensive items. At L25 a hard +80 bonus to a stat makes a colossal difference.

Also fuck PvP. I could probably easily reach S-class every time and maybe even be competitive if I bothered, but that whole Invalid matches shit or people surrendering giving you less points remains retarded game design. Aside from, you know, the way they run PvP in this game to begin with. The Weekly Challenge kind of got the right idea, but real-time PvP just doesn't work with all those safety-nets and limited availability of items. If anything, PvP would need some kind of "point shop", which allows you to directly trade in points for prizes (with limited per-player stock), on top of a whole different game-mode.

I would advise you to spread it around for two reason.
One is the only good element is the element that is strong to the current event boss. Example, your concentrated fire ssrs won't do jackshit if the current event is not wind boss.
Two is you will keep rolling in the future even if you're not paying for it. If you get 3 ssrs on one element and rolled another one then congratulations, you got an ssr only to put him/her on the fucking bench.
Don't think it won't happen, the game really like to pile up one or two elements on your id.

Alright, I'm the GBF newbie that was asking about being able to do VH bosses a couple of days back before the event started.
Just wanted to report that I finally kick Sagat's VH ass, and have done so a couple of times.

Just for reference for other noobs: My ATK Power (the numbers on My Page) is around 17k now. So you can start attempting VH battles around there, lower if you're confident.

Advice for noobs: If you've yet to unlock DF, do it asap. My DF isn't even level 15 yet, but Delay2 and Mist are all that's needed. Manage his ougi and you shouldn't have a problem.

Noobs not able to do VH yet worrying about mats: VH Sagat has been a disappointment so far. Been only getting single gold drops (no 2 or 3 yet), heck my first victory didn't net me a single gold chest.
So grinding on Hard may not be such a bad idea. I was doing that the whole time 'til I felt daring enough to kick Sagat's tiger ass.
