max cape is actually worse. its +26 all i think and doesn't have ava's effect to compensate. only comp cape is better, and its better in every stat and has the bonus effects of Ava's, ardy cloak, spirit cloak, fire cape, bonesack(e) and jarrod's cape.

the relative time and difficulty for earning a comp cape when we're talking about a guy that doesnt' even have alerter yet make it not even worth mentioning, while tokhaar is fairly easy to obtain if you have a t80 weapon in all styles. and 80 smithing

Tips on how to remove camel:

-USE RANGED. While the main camel is weak to melee (crush), the mirages are weak to ranged (thrown). The mirages are a bigger deal than the camel itself so use ranged.
-Sharpshooter aura is recommended to maximize accuracy on the main camel,
-The mirages attack with magic only so pray mage when they appear. The main camel uses ranged and mage so you can use soul split if you want.
-The the main camel goes below 15k LP, it will summon its mirages. One of them can bind you so hit anticipate as soon as the mirages begin to spawn.
-The shadow camel has an ult ability which drains about 50% of your prayer. Look for the only mirage with an adrenaline bar and fuck him up as fast as you can. Open up with a snipe then rapid fire right afterwards.
-The blood camel will heal all camels for every attack he lands. Use Needle strike > Snapshot > Corruption/Frag shot > Needle Strike
-The smoke camel binds but he's fucking whatever once the other two are dead. Avoid using frag shot on it though, save it for the main camel.
-After the mirages are dead the main camel will appear again. He has an adrenaline bar and will ult with a sand tornado that does increasing AOE damage (it can be dodged by moving). He does another sand tornado that's not an aoe or an ult ability. The difference between the two is that the camel lunges its staff forward for an AOE tornado and raises it up for a regular tornado.
-He will always use the AOE tornado if you bind him. That means Rapid fire will trigger it.
-Open up with rapid fire, then fragshot as you run under him once he fires the tornado (which is at around the fourth hit of rapid fire). Clean him up from there however you want.
-The suggested kill order is shadow > blood > smoke

so where am I going to use this?

You know, I love staying with runescape mostly to follow the updates and sort of get a glimpse into the thought process over at Jagex when it comes to delivering content and generally dealing with players.

It's so interesting to see them assume they know what players want and then get blown the fuck out when they're wrong

Most recent examples being the Halloween event (where they thought cool atmosphere and "spooky halloween" was enough to get players to grind for hours for shit rewards) or the slayer monsters (where they really thought players would chose to fight difficult monsters for shitty drops)

Just looking at the BTS video they released for Invention shows they really don't have an understanding about how players like to train their skills

Every quest is loreshit to the max trying to outdo the previous one. Runelabs shit being used because Jagex thinks that's what people want, when instead it's usually only what a small group of people who circlejerk over runelabs wants.

Theyre working on a new downloadable client (C++ client, not java), with better texture resolution and for the past year or so all new textures have been designed with this system in mind. Unfortunately that makes them look smudgy on the current client.

It's not a new engine, just a new client.

It runs the same game data from the smae server, just in a more efficient way for the end user. It will allow for better performance, less lag, the ability to load larger chunks (therefore higher draw distance), uncapped fps, and higher resolution textures.

None of this is heavily dependent on the game's core engine. Even just moving the continent of Karamja 40 squares south would require an extensive amount of coding. Everything on the island would need to be recoded for it's new position in the world, otherwise you might find that your clue scroll dig location is now 15 squares into the ocean or under a tree.

The game is 15 years old and so many systems are interconnected and overlapping. People say "lul speghooter codez" as a meme but with an MMO this old it's a valid excuse

It is incredibly disrespectful to just ignorantly claim my last 200m Agility is of lower value after all the extra effort I put in. I will finish 1b Agility Xp with 70k or less Xp/hr as my AVERAGE over all these years. My Xp rate at FPF right now is only 82k.

it was fun runescape but you truly died to me when eoc took over, i couldn't adapt but i kept playing for the friends i'd made and to achieve the goals I wanted, 99 slayer and crafting and over 2 years ago now i achieved those. once i hit 99 slay i never had motivation to play anymore.
