Wouldn't be my first choice. I'm not very used to EE, it does weird things to my positioning. I guess if there's really nothing much else you can fit in, you can put in Bombardier. If it's a 5 slot skill you're looking for, there's a bunch of situational stuff you could go for, like tremor res or biology. There's also speed sharpen and trap master, I guess.

It's funny how he never played a single day after that(Why the fuck does this happen so often in MH), he sold it later on and here I am with over 400 hours in my entire hutning career. What hurts the most is now I'm numb to the length of the hunts just like most of us here. I wish I could go back to jumping in joy when killing even a great jaggi. Really sucks how after a handful of large monster fights you become used to how intense the game is.

I think the most exciting part of these HC/X Rank/ Variant monsters is the unique skill.

There are some armors that I have always LOVED, that I just cannot make myself craft. Like Cephadrome. The design is great, but it is NEVER useful, even in its appropriate HR. So if each variant has a truly unique skill, or at least the equivalent of double skills from 4th gen, I would be really happy. Plus, the fact that the armor gets a physical alteration is basically the evolution of relic armors, which ducked sick but we're great to collect.

I've made my peace with the fact that this is a mainline Frontier. I'm going to enjoy it for what it is, and hope that they push the style as far into crazy chuuni territory as it can go. It's already much too late to return to roots before 5. Demo in 5 days holy shit

I keep getting trampled by Tigrex in Hell Hunters Hoax. I'm using a bow and have 389 armor with evasion +2, weaknesss exploit, focus and load up. I've been having issues with this quest for a while now, any tips? I'm using seregios bow

Those are good things to have but I'm not certain they specifically go together. You'd be better served with Rapid Up for the Seregios Bow, or using an elemental bow with Weakness Exploit.

Seregios Bow also lacks a Level 4 charge, so Load Up does nothing for it. (Check the stat card)

As a Bow user myself I found much better mileage with Evade Extender over Evasion. The best way to avoid damage is not being there.

You should also learn to "fight dirty" and use everything you have to gain an edge: coatings, flash bombs, traps, etc. Take a bow with para and/or sleep and bring phials and coating mats.

you're wrong in general, since it also means longer charge time. load up isn't always a damage increase. level 3 and 4 are not that much different.

but in this case steve bow needs loadup just to not be total shit, since it lacks a 3rd charge without

To be totally 100% fair.. Tigre didn't show up on his own. He was preceded by Rathalos, who literally does frontier-style effects. As in AOE attacks with earth-ripping effects that persist, so much so that even when evaded, it looks as though you should be taking another instance of the damage.

So Frontier is already on people's minds. We still have yet to see what any of these monsters really fight like. But it isn't unreasonable to see a design aspect not previously found in mainline games, only found in frontier, and start making broader connections with all of these variant monsters.

Plus Lavasioth is back. I mean, that's literally Frontier.
