I don't think the game gets enough credit for the animation and sound effects that are way better than any other video card game out there. Hearthstone owes a lot of its success to that.

Overwatch looks similar to me, in that no other class-based FPS has this good of animation, art, and sound (well maybe Black Ops 3 or Rainbow Six, but those are not really arena games and I think they mostly appeal to different audiences).

HS was a little bit too optimistic, i know, regarding competition or games that are not the same genre but compete with it too.

One of the important consequences of Blizz model and that no one mentions is that you either pay for new content, or you don't get it at all, while on other games it may take a few weeks or months to get 100% of the gameplay, but i can at least get 70% or whatever in a reasonable time and grind for the rest.

I prefer a F2P model where at least i can grind my shit, instead of having myself and the game longevity being held hostage by how much dlc/expansions/cash shop they want to add over 6 months or 1 year. I could even deal with a 20$/year expansion, but i know Blizz and they will pump out a lot of shit that will cost together 100$+/year, turning the game basically into a subscription based game.

It's called interpolation, at least in CS games. It's supposed to make the game more fair for people with higher pings, when it basically just ruins it for everyone. In 1.6 and old CS:S you could just disable it, and while player with bad connections lagged around the map, you could still hit them because it exactly showed their position.
