How many more fucking times do we need to go through this? They aren't bullet sponges if you have the right weapon/upgrades. For humans? Rifles/pistols. For creatures? Fire based weapons/grenades. For robots? Emp grenades/etc.

So now that fallout 4 is out and we've all played it, id like to ask about something I thought about earlier.

DLC, we know its coming. But what would you like to see? I had an interesting idea, or at least I think its interesting. Of pre-war dlc. Im not entirely sure what it would be about, I immediately though well maybe have the protagonist relive their experience during the war with china? Maybe have him involved in the campaign in mainland China. But then it occurred to me, do we know if you choose to play the wife instead of the husband, was she in the military? Is the backstory the same for the "main" character no matter which you pick? Then I thought about how such a DLC might recieve some hate because of its similarities with Operation Anchorage as you'd most likely use the dream machines in GoodNeighbor to start it and it would be combat heavy. However at the same time the gunplay is SO MUCH improved compared to Fallout 3 that I think it would be interesting to revisit.

I also wonder about a trip down to DC, but I doubt it would happen. Though Id love to see DC updated and thriving instead of shit green ruins filled with super mutants. I want to know, what happen to Elder Lyons and his daughter? If the EBOS went back to their old ways or a semblance of them does that mean they purged DC of all mutants including the ghouls of underworld and with Maxon causing the EBOS to become more militarized and fanatical to traditional BOS creed, what did the Lone Wanderer have to say about this considering he must carry a lot of weight with them since he pretty much saved their asses. Id also love to revisit the Pitt and see if its got its shit together. But once again doubtful.

So any ideas anons? Im an east coast fag myself but iv never been north of Philly so I know dick about areas around Boston that would be a good local for DLC>

The dialogue system is still restrictive as shit, and it's sad to see that it's devolved this much from the literal list of questions you could ask in games like Morrowind or the original Fallout. Hell, Fallout 1 even had that "ask about a topic" thing that only worked half the time but was still pretty cool.

How is the main quest in term of spacing, does it encourage you to always rush or can you take your time without feeling pressure to go forward?
In F3 I didn't like that you had to find your father as fast as possible, I know you're free but it just didn't feel coherent to do something else, FNV was a lot better in this regard.
