The game doesn't have high or ultra textures at the moment since Bethesda fucked up, so not sure why you're having performance issues unless you're on a potato.

Anyone else have an issue with the Emogene find a Lover quest? I made it to her location, but when I enter the locked room to meet here, she just isn't there. The game then bugs out and has a quest marker suggesting I go back to Cabbot house, but it leads to behind a locked door. When you go inside, no one is there.

Forcing a quest completion doesn't help either because you can't progress after that.

Anyone find a fix to this issue?

I think the holstered weapons were removed primarily because holstered weapons use different models from equipped weapons and they couldn't be arsed to do new models for all the possible gunbinations (because lazy)

Why is the music selection so fucking pathetic? Yeah, adding butcher pete was cool and all, but did they have to add ALL those other shitty songs that make up for fucking half of the available ones? Literally only one good song, which is The End of the World. The rest is unbearable and most come from previous games, meaning I overhead them to death and beyond.

Can't fucking stand letting the radio on even for a single minute, specially with that /v/ avatar casting spaghetti storm all over the place.

It's a good thing that with the radio turned off the game get a LOT of atmosphere though. It legit felt like oldschool Resident Evils in the super duper market with the ghouls crawling in through windows and stuff, while a music that reminded me of the older REs played, so there's that.

One of the tool tips confirms that attacks happen when resources are higher than your defense. Get your food above 84 and water above 84, don't think it's combined.

I've heard rumors that attacks don't happen until you reach a certain level too, but don't know any truth behind that.

I found a dead trader brahmin and two raiders talking next to it in a building's parking lot. One of them was telling a story about a guy and his imaginary motorcycle and grenade, so I got close and hid to hear it. The problem is that I hit quicksave as soon as he said "oh! I think this guy is still moving!" and shot what I later found out to be the Trader that was supposedly traving with the brahmin. Did I lose an opportunity to save him or what?

You get General armor in the next Minuteman story quest: Old Guns. You find it after defeating the Final Boss of the Castle, which wouldn't be as bad as the Mirelurk Queen if not for the fact that you fight him in a tunnel and he's composed almost entirely of bullets.

I've gotten Sanctuary and the Co-Op farm running very nicely, and the drive-in theater is getting better with time. Solved all the water problems for that settlement forever by slapping down a big purifier right in that little spring in the middle of the parking lot.

Not true, I've cheated my way with resources and have a current defense of 250.

I have 14 settlers with 92 happiness and I get Deathclaw attacks (in groups of six) or raiders (ten men/women with not-so-shitty guns and higher HP than regular raiders).

At one point synths (three plus a Courser) also attacked Sanctuary when I haven't blown up the Institute yet.

My advice is to invest in personal weapons for your settlers (including Preston, Sturges, Longs and Mama Murphy) and keep your turrets no higher than two storeys otherwise they will have shit range and therefore can't shoot. Do not invest in Spotlights and instead invest building engineering lights since they are indestructible.

Enemies attack turrets and unless you cheat for resources you're throwing away hard to find ones when enemies could easily 2-3 shot them.

That's their attempt at predicting. You could go become fucking raider and that would hardly fall in the lines of any dialogue option. It would take an absurd amount of time to record and write all the lines that would cover most things a player might want to say.

All of my guards are wearing at least raider armor, some with leather/metal depending on what I've got, with pipe rifles or hunting rifles.

Though question, do the town guard use up ammo? I swapped out their pipe pistols for pipe rifles and they don't seem to have used up any when they fought off the first and only ghoul attack.

I just got to bunkertown and everyone is aggresive towards me. The first thing I did was steal some ammo, I was hidden when I did it, when I got into town.

Is normal for everyone to be aggressive towards me or do I need to reload a save and come back?

Actually Survival doesn't buff enemy HP so much as it fucks everything up. On Survival

1. Enemy HP is at Hard levels
2. You do half damage
3. Enemies do double damage

I found the best bet for VHard is to get a Combat Rifle and Rifleman using the +Dmg Mods that you can get to, it seems to kill everything except robots plenty quick. Sniper Rifles feel very underwhelming except when using the +Sneak damage, because Combat Rifles deal like 1/2 to 3/5 their damage anyway but attack about 10-15x faster

The dialogue system is a joke even when compared to mass effect. At least it did something in that game. Here you get an option to refuse content and three variants of yes. It would be better if they removed everything except for "yes" and "maybe later" for most dialogues like, say, in Stalker. But noooope, Todd wants to play a game of pretend. As in, he's pretending like it's a proper rpg and not action rpg.

I spec'd high charisma and int so I can't say, but I think it'd be viable, you just have to be smart (or play a lower difficulty). You'll want heavy protection, power armor would help, heavy armor and chems.

Really it depends on enemy levels, baby enemies will only tickle you but higher levels can chew out your health in a few hits. Just depends.
