In other news, Superbeat Xonic is fucking slick. Screenshots alone won't do the eyecandy justice.
The game is pretty hard though. Especially as someone who played DJ MAX before, the new tunnel vision "beat cockpit" really fucked me in the head. Admittedly they do give you crutches without any sort of penalty other than my own ego and the desire to not be a scrub, but if anything they hinder the player's willingness to perform crazy finger magic ("Eh, the Break Shield can tank it")
Still didn't stop me from scoring in the Top 10 though.

I don't have time to translate since I'm going to work, but I don't sense a huge change from before the demo.

Some people are bringing up issues (one called it "Nepu Nepu's battle system turned 2D"), but the main thing is that there's still interest, which Net high seemed to completely lack before they released the demo.

You should play it if you can, I laughed pretty hard about 6 or 7 times. It is too easy though, I hope it's just because it's the first chapter.

Normal makes the combat rather easy and removes what little is left of the JRPG elements of the game

Veteran is decently challenging but it makes combat take a lot longer for no reward other than adding challenge.

As for Ar no surge, it has a good story but the battle system is basically just something nice to have inbetween story segments (one bad thing about the game is you spend hours just clicking through crafting dialog). Also the fact that you should play the never localized CIel makes me think you should just not get it.

I've always just played the hardest difficulty for the heck of it for any games except for Nep since it just adds more grinding. Honestly, I kinda recommend for any nep players to play on the easiest difficulty just because no one plays neps for the gameplay.
