I get almost no anxiety in this game, since I came here from Dota. The fact that I'm not locked up with 9 screaming Russians for next 45 minutes every time I go for a match really helps. If your team is bad in HotS at least you will lose fast. Johanna is goddamned broken and although she's a piece of shit, she doesn't get the hostility in-game as Chen does because Chen just stands there and chugs and people hit him because they hate him for it. Also, his mobility is fucking bonkers; Johanna can stick to someone if she can catch them, but Chen can catch someone, stick to them, and make sure they can't get away at ALL. I'd rather be pursued by a Johanna than a Chen. Johanna at least goes dry after a while of dicking around if you keep ignoring her, but Chen can hound you until you die of old age.

Game is pretty balanced right now. Almost every hero is viable thanks to the last patch. New heroes are coming, the whole system is changing next week since they are rebuilding how stats grow. There are a shit ton of quality of life improvements and polishing thanks to that Blizzard quality.

The only thing that is trash so far is the matchmaking, but they are making a whole new one on the coming months. So yeah, that's it. New heroes, more polishing, more skins. Game is pretty fun, specially if you play with friends.

Learn the timings for the maps to take mercs. As a general rule if there's a lane with no one in it you should soak that lane rather than take camps (unless its super pushed up and you would be in gank danger for going there)

Also make sure your creep is spreading everywhere. Rapid incubation seems good but imo endless creep is better. Huge vision, harder to find tumors, movespeed. Rapid incubation will barely ever save your life since you have to stop to use it whereas endless creep will save you lots as long as you look at the map.

Since there is no last hitting you should be basically saying at the minimap and only glancing to your hero while you're soaking or doing a merc camp (on any hero)

So I just picked up HOTS with my friends yesterday. It seems pretty fun we're all big DOTA 2 fags so this is a good change of pace.
