I'm just a tiny bit ashamed of the way I did this chapter. If you do it just right, you can burst straight through, hitting one DV after another, all the way up to Hinoka. It gets really tense and it feels great. But it's been a long time since I've done that, so I did this the cowardly way.

Ophelia goes off to the west and makes a very voluptuous, lewd diversion for all the enemies, who all either have subpar aim with axes/bows, or magic that does nothing to her. This gives everyone else room on the eastern side to cower in the corner.

There are two major points where early reinforcements come from (they come for like 10 turns) -- the southwest, and the northeast. The map is shaped such that, when those two sets of reinforcements come at the same time, there's occasionally a narrow diagonal line you can fit into. And at other times, you just have to put your weaklings into pair-ups and accept the damage. Once the reinforcements thin out, everyone goes up and I prepare three DV spots to be set off. As soon as Hinoka sets one off, I set one off on my own so that my land-based units can just charge up and kill Setsuna's group. Speaking of Setsuna, she's completely impotent -- she doesn't even have Counter, for some reason, though she does have Swordbreaker. Asama's even weaker, though he does have the HP-halving staff to fuck with you. From there it's a very, very fast sprint upward with 10-mov land units to finish the map. I didn't check, but I think Hinoka has the flier protection skill. It didn't save her from the dog, though.

Next comes Ryouma. I think I'd like to get as much EXP as possible, so the plan is to warp Ophelia up to Kamui so she can give him dodge and dual guard while everyone else slowly crawls up the edges of the map.

From examining some unused images from the game, I've discovered that the kingdom of ウエルト (which I've been consistently keeping as "Wellt" in accordance with the old translation) is apparently intended to be "Huerto," which means vegetable in Spanish. I'm on the fence whether I should change it or not.

As for items, I've still got no clue what the dark magic トゥマハーン or the axe ドルハーケン refer to, so at the moment they're just "Tumahann" and "Dolharken."

Wow this map is actually somewhat difficult. All the promoted enemies are kind of hard to take down since I have just enough strength to actually kill them, and they're so strong they can actually damage my units a considerate amount, and since my units all have such shitty health, they'd go down in 3/4 hits. Sakura is definitely promoting after this.

Tumahann is the dark magic, not the axe. It's got 1-3 range and is uncounterable.
