New guy from last thread. I unlocked Poppy with IP and I've done decently with her but she feels really weak early unless the enemy team just feeds me kills

I like it, My runes match yours, except that I have AS quints, but maybe I'm not adapted yet seeing as it feels as though all my champs have a greater earlier AS.

Seems like there's a lot more resistances between masteries and those provided by the support's masteries too.

I'd run straight MR but now that I'm sacrificing the AS quints for LS quints and mages/AP assassins are less prevalent (save brand and LB) I can get away with it. As the meta changes I'll likely get rid of them but for now I'll take the minor AS buff over MR I'm almost never gonna use.

What masteries (do you need to take hp regen masteries to make this effective)? Any alterations to runes?

I have a friend with a challenger family member, both recommended hp regen quints on some of my champs for lane even last season as a sleeper OP, it worked very well vs tough match ups, I ran it vs lb every time pre nerf/changes.

I was going this on heimerdinger, who it's particularly effective on because he has the highest base HP regen in the game, by a wide margin
make sure your runes are flat resists and not per level, as per level makes you too susceptible to all ins early without a dorans item
I'm still experimenting with the masteries, but the important ones are the ones that increases all regen by 8%, and the one that gives +50% regen increasing to +200% regen when below 50%
respect the fact that without the health from doran's you're easier to all in and you should do fine, especially against pokey match ups

Why do you guys care about who's strong and who's not as well as who fits in the meta more? I mean sure this can affect you somehow but come on, what makes you win more is how good you play.

Champs like Yorick and Sejuani were forgotten or used less by people because their not in the meta or something but Jesus Christ, they can be strong as fuck when played right. You don't have to fucking pick champs that people claimed to be in the meta or claimed to be strong to win games, it's more on your skills.
I mean, my friend won 4 ranked matches in a row as MF, and that was in the previous patch before she got her rework. I even saw someone played Aatrox and he managed to kick ass.

I usually play very aggressively, winning trades which takes away enemy all in potential, but becoming susceptible to ganks so I primarily want hp regen vs those pokey matchups anyway haha, I'll test it out.

Without any real basis, I think I'm going to try mostly offensive masteries with flat def runes and hp regen runes and see if that's enough on champs without high base hpregen stats

My favorite champion is Quinn.

I like her visual design and overall character. I think her E is the most fun spell in the entire game. I like her burst and after the rework I enjoy being the fastest character in the game, homeguards and ult are hilarious.

It was fun to be oppressive in top but I'm looking forward to her not being an incredibly niche champion and instead a great mid champ. 5.22 has been great so far. She also has no bad skins.

Yeah, roaming every 5 seconds is actually fun. As long as you don't die, it's hard to punish you for roaming since you can get back so quickly, so it doesn't matter if you don't get something for roaming; you'll just do it again in a minute. It's like having two junglers, and you've got enough speed to just about countergank top or bot from midlane.

And the waveclear, plus ability to reach lanes quickly to shove, lets you snowball a lot. I finished a game with 50% more cs than anyone else, level 18 when no one else was over 16 (highest on enemy team was 15!), and a complete item ahead.

there are placed that special in connecting people with employers, but assuming you don't have any marketable skills those aren't very helpful
go into restaurants and ask if they have any openings, with the holiday season coming up they'll need extra staff. Even if they don't have a sign saying they're taking applications go in and ask.
