With the onset of the pulse meta, where does the majority of /dg/ stand? Are you rocking low impact or still holding out for the y2 hopscotch/messenger roll of your dreams?

Why do people keep ranting and raving about the Lyudmila? Even with counterbalance and injection mold it's still shit. I'll take my Villainy over it any day of the week. It still has to much recoil to land precise hits.

I'd rather take a gun where 3/3 hits are precision hits with less damage than a gun where only 2/4 are precision hits and the other two are either complete misses or non-precision hits.

There's no reason to run out of ammo so quickly. Special ammo synths (assuming you're new, so if you're not familiar: consumable items that fully refill your ammo count on a 5 minute cooldown) are dirt cheap glimmer-wise, go pick them up from the gunsmith. If you don't know who xur is, google him, and spend 10-30 strange coins on heavy synths so you never run out.

For the regicide mission, you probably want a high-impact sniper rifle and machine gun, but anything can work.

Yeah so far i've just been drowning in Treads upon Stars and Not like the others, so i'm stuck with my admittedly nicely rolled Treads. After like 2 days practice i started nailing heads and it was good, but as soon as i used my pulse that was over.
And my only HCs are 5 Down and Doubts, a Byronic Hero and actually a Imago Loop with reinforceed barrel. That one's quite good but idunno. HCs just aren't my thing anymore. I'm usually more of a AR guy but the few ones i have with high stability and good recoil have literally no range.

It feels like the sandbox gameplay has been getting less sandy with each instalment since Halo 3 which is where I feel it peaked. In that game the great variety in enemies, vehicles, locations and the unpredictability of equipment depending on if/when and where it was used greatly changed encounters in both PvE and PvP.

Now it's like, instead of a support item being the unpredictable factor it's whether the enemy team is sitting on a stash of scorpion tanks. The PvE is just boring by the books shit. The Flood were finally becoming interesting in Halo 3 with real time infections and transformation types, now they've been thrown out for enemies that are basically Elites with dogs and support drones which I was hoping would all fuck off with Halo 4 but instead are the new main antagonist faction for the foreseeable future.
