The Symmetra buff was good, she didn't need a buff but it didn't really make her better it just made things more streamlined.

Soldier 76 is far weaker than McCree close range, and has no way of killing tanks nearly as well. Also in a duel, McCree would kill Soldier 76 just because of the flashbang. As I said, pick McCree if you want a mid-close range damage dealer that will murder you if you get close to him.

5 hours into the beta, the beta invite gods heard my plea. Took two of the new heroes for a spin, and here's wot I think:

Mei - BUILD WALL #TRUMP2016. She is basically Anivia from LoL. Can be annoying as fuck with her ice wall shenanigans which has a ridiculously long range at which you can place it, effectively shutting down an entire route for a few seconds (unless you have abilities to get around it), and her cryo cannon is just retarded as you can pretend you are a Pyro holding down W+M1 collecting kills, in addition to your opponents getting frozen solid. I could almost hear the REEEEEEEEEEEEEE coming from Genji faggots I put a stop to.

D.Va - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-kYiDbG39s , out of all the heroes I've tried, I think I've found a favorite. Her shield soaks every projectile and makes the enemy leg it. Jets are a great get-the-fuck-out-there ability, and her mech regens fast once it's destroyed by damage or using her ult (if it kills, you get a new mech right away)

Tracer, Reaper. Roadhog, D.va etc have to get close range to fight him. he still has solid damage and mid range and can poke at long range.

this aint 1v1, McCree plays as part of time, and he's got a great role as an offense support, sticking close to the tank and poking at range and murdering anything that gets close (like flankers)

I guess you're just a dummy who doesn't understand how the game works. McCree wasn't good at all ranges by the way, he was superb in them. The game is supposed to work around swapping heroes. If the enemy keeps diving you with tanks, Tracers, whatever flanking hero, pick McCree and wreck them. Otherwise, pick another hero you need.

McCree existing in the state he was in went directly against one of the game's design rules. You're not supposed to be a goddamn one man be good at everything machine. You'd understand this if you understood the game at all.

From a competitive standpoint, do you guys think ult % buildup staying between deaths is a good design decision? Obviously for pubs it'd be frustrating to lose your big ability just as you get it, but the denial of these big game changing abilities seems like it would lead to more interesting matches with even more priority placed on certain pick offs of heroes with higher impact ults.
