AC was a bad choice, you should go mkb on PA if there's a carry that's even possibly going butterfly on the enemy team. MKB is really good on PA even without considering the true strike.

Can't say much more without seeing the match, but AM has a bazillion gpm and they have all their t2 towers, so your team should've tried to get an early advantage with WL, DS and SD before antifun finishes farming and buys everything.

So I'm a person that gets in LPQ from time to time. It's not really that I'm cancerous player or anything like that, but occasionally my playstyle pisses people off. Not that I'm actively trying to troll or anything, but in rare situations, mostly with a 4player stack on my team I will be the "oddball" as I don't agree with their play style. It's not always the case, but like I said very rarely they'll pick me out and report me. It could have been something as simple as not taking an incredibly stupid fight or taking farm over a seriously terrible player. I've been reported before after supporting my carry and him missing literally 15 of 30 last hits, I started taking his farm forcefully. He cried to his friends and I ended up in LPQ.

Anyhow this is my dilemma: Since LPQ Is basically Dota 2 death, I've been in it, it took me a week to get out- I'm not joking. I played 3-4 times a day, and each day lost about 3 games each, gaining one win. End result, I don't talk in games anymore. I don't say ANYTHING. I'm scared people will have a differing opinion and report me. I just don't want to do it. I'm scared to make risky plays, I'm scared. And all because I don't want to spend a week of my free time in LPQ.

I'm actually not even sure I want to play anymore.

Ya, I was like that for awhile. I just decided to remake another accnt and smurf back to my og rating after dropping a bunch. I dropped from 4.7 to 4k cuzza ooga forced 50 then recalibrated my smurf as high as 4.6. I play games sparingly each day and try not to play when i'm sleepy/tired/hungry, a couple pros say that's the worst time to play and you just tilt so hard. Just stop playing after you win 2-3 games in a row, I've gone back and played Dead Space @ 4k, witcher 3, probably will play fallout 4 in between now as well.

There's youtube videos of people playing 3k mmr with it and holding their own in lane. I've played with one of the alpha versions myself at Valve HQ and it takes some time to get used to and still isn't comparable with a mouse and keyboard but still very fucking impressive compared to a standard console controller. I heard that the new retail ones will come with actual traction and feedback which might make it equal if not better in some respects.

This. The game is about teamwork, and valve forces you to lose by hindering your teamwork.

The game does not reward you in matchmaking for individual achievement like counter strike (you rank up faster if you get more MVP stars) so they should really just make enemy players get progressively harder and make it so your teammates are ALWAYS as good as you are.

I want to play in a group of people at least at the same mmr as me instead of making me the highest mmr on a team with the lowest being almost 500mmr lower than me; that's so, so stupid.

well if mmr is dependent on hero choice then the current rating is misleading, and it shouldn't be used to matchmake.

It's just that the algorithm is far from perfect and leads to a lot of bullshit. Just today I had two games of dual mid and this is 4.8k mmr games with 5.5ks in it.

ok /d2g/ help me out: as a supportkek i have always had trouble when i go against a bully offlaner(s) - i cant seem to keep my carry from getting harrased out of lane and help him secure farm.
imagine case A: im in the safelane with a guy who picked the most useless hard carry in laning phase you can think of, and i pick something like crystal maiden (one of my best supps).. we go vs a cunt dark seer who keeps putting shells on creeps and my melee carry cant cs. i cant kill dark seer or even the creeps with shell, what should i do to win a lane like this? no ring of repick pls, its just an example

In the case of dual mid, you can try to ask players what role they would be willing to play prior to searching for a game. This is a shit fix because it just forces the game into a "Valve approved only compositions" matchmaking.
