For most of them I just took what they are when you fight them as an enemy, but obviously neutrals can't be included in that and some of the enemies aren't promoted or don't even show up(like Charlotte or Nyx), kids I just did whatever their father was for the ones that shared classes. GK actually does patch up a lot of Pieri's problem areas without hurting the good parts. Bad defense? Patch it up with Great Knight, and she still manages to have good res. Bad HP? Great Knight. Eponine's chapter is a complete bitch if you don't prepare a Draw staff for it. You either need to rush up the front or rush along the left because her fujo ass is gone pretty quickly. The front is filled with Heroes that even Ryouma doesn't dodge consistently and the left is filled with DF Generals.

If you don't want to fight anything and don't care about the treasure, you can just Draw her in, kill her, and mash end turn until everything else retreats (but what's the fun in that, Kamui and Breast Ninja needs more XP after all)

Because the kids themselves are good waifus, some even more so than the adults. In awakening they genuinely felt like kids because of how plot relevant and close to the parents they were. In fates since they were tacked on they feel less like my comrade's children and more like my comrade's hot genderbent clones or younger selves. Just look at how popular Shinonome and Ophelia are, they really don't seem like 'children' either. The only characters that feel like kids are Midoriko, Lutz, Kanna, and Shigure because he's Lucina 2.0 and Lucina was my Daughteru

Also the awakening clones are already cemented as first gen in our heads which takes away the children feeling even more.

With Shara's laughably easy chapter down, I now have all of the children recruited.

Now I go to finish up IK Lunatic, then go on to Nohr Lunatic at a later date. I've decided I'm not going to use Ophelia this run; I love her but I want to give Flora a chance instead, I got more than enough stat boosters for it. So the only children I'll be using are Velour, Shinonome and Matoi.

God damn it, eugenics is hard. I'm basically trying to match up mods for people(strength dads to strength moms, magic moms to magic dads etc) and I'm already stuck on Azura. She only gives skill and speed so I'm looking for someone to compliment that, and the only option really being Ryouma, but I heard he can do better with characters like Camilla. This is stupid.

Grima really had no choice but to go back. Validar's the reason Robin tries to kill Chrom and Lucina's interference gets Validar killed before the job's done.

Lucina may have been an incompetent dipshit but interfering and saving Emm in chapter 7 probably makes the timeline drastically different than what we play through. If the Robin from Lucy's future willingly became Grima, it probably changes how a lot shit goes down.

Regarding leaving Ignis's paralogue to late game, I made Benoit (who I wasn't using) a Dark Flier so that Ignis could get the Child Seal, and therefore Defensive Formation, before the ninjas even got to him. It's a silly strategy but fuck that chapter.

It's not a very complicated series to get into. I haven't had any problems transitioning from FE awakening and into the older titles.

If you are looking for a combat real time style game though, this is definitely not a game series for you though. The game looks boring but playing it is a much more different feeling.
