Yes, the number of colored sparks you've used. For example, Vector of Balance will require you to have spent xx many blue sparks before you can upgrade it again. As for how many, I don't know since I'm nowhere close to reaching that point.

It's the same group, anon. I decided I didn't want the clan to end there, so now we're bigger than Warframe. We've dipped into a number of games along the way.

Everyone ends up getting every class. More knights are needed really, but starting out as cryo is fine and then branching into support later seems to be the best way to not lose interest in the game.

Fuck them for tying ANYTHING about Divine Specializations for classes. There was no reason for that and it only goes counter to Godform granting you more mobility between classes.

Why can't someone who likes tanking or playing DD play a God of Authority and have their fucking aura work?

Whenever a weapon or amulet drops, there's a chance it will be for one of the classes that you've unlocked other than the one you're playing.
You could try farming bosses until you get a half decent weapon, but it might be better to just run an easy squad mission to grab some blue weapons with your new class.

Shadow cloaking is much better, it allows you to do an aditional twilight scourge, one of your most damaging abilities. If you already have 2 stacks of the twilight scourge buff it means 2 crits.
The cheat death mechanic is a crutch, you shouldnt be dying, and only worth it in pvp.

Except that shadow cloaking isn't better. An additional twilight scourge means nothing in squad missions so let's completely disregard that. In fact, it's actually better to take complete cloak, twilight scourge 3x, take enough damage to knock you back into cloak, and scourge again to kill bosses. Much faster and efficient assuming healing orbs don't drop on you.

So, the only place where it does matter, in raids and distortions, assuming you get all 4 twilight scourges out each time and assuming the boss doesn't move during the important scourges, you'd only get an extra super crit damage scourge every 3 cloaks. Assuming you have the talent that reduces the cooldown of your cloak by 1 second and you get the optimal rotation (once again, highly unlikely with large bosses that send you out of the smoke grenade/into telegraphs when you back stab and bosses that move), you'd get an extra super crit damage twilight scourge once every 2:12, which also won't be affected by your kinetic symbol because your kinetic symbol only lasts 6 seconds, and most likely won't be affected by your alch symbol either unless you get extremely lucky and proc it with your first twilight scourge for that cloak. Chances are, any global buffs other than blessing of the sun with the duration weapon will also run out before you can get the fourth twilight scourge out.

Let's talk bosses that actually do matter since everything else dies in one sledge/lightbinder/alch buff combo. A2 and Firewing moves around way too much for the fourth scourge to be effective. A3 constantly rotates you in and out of the bubble and knocks you down, even if you're cloaked for it to be worth it. A1 doesn't move but the battle lasts about 5 minutes so that's worth about nothing. A4 is probably the only one where it'd work out if you don't care about buffs since you can use it during the bubble grid. However, you'd still do more damage if you just waited until buffs are up before scourging.

Long story short, shadow cloak is only "worth it" if you're fighting a boss with tons of hp, that absolutely does not move, does not cast telegraphs that can cc you if you backstab into it, doesn't attack you at all because the tank is in complete control, does not have any boss mechanics that renders it invincible/untargettable, and you have absolutely no supports on your team or they're too stupid to use blessing of the sun/energy shower. And for that one extra super crit twilight scourge that shows up once every 2:12 in super optimal conditions or once every few minutes in (more common) less than optimal conditions, you're giving up your death cheating ability and ability to make clutch plays (like purposely taking damage to knock you into cloak so you can generate a health orb for the tank if he really needs one).

So I recently hit 37k, and the more I look at the game its less grinding for progress as it is grinding to do things so that you can then grind for progress.
