i don't think magic hit rate is a thing anymore. magic penetration was renamed to magic amplification, every hit it adds between 0 and 100% of the magic amplification value

I haven't played Archer, but the problem with most weak classes in the game is simple. Other classes just do it better.

Take Wizard for example. They're weak as shit (but since you're a wizard for a whole 20 minutes you don't tend to care).
Swordsman has Thrust, it deals more damage, has less cooldown and uses less SP than Energy Bolt.
Then they have Bash. It's got a shorter cooldown, less SP and 3 uses, if you combine all 3 uses it's more damage than Earthquake at a similar SP cost.

Swordsmen clearly have two superior offensive abilities. They're just better and that is all there is to it.

This is the problem with most classes in the game. Swordsman class gets offensive ability that does a million damage at no SP cost on a short cooldown, other classes get an ability that does a tiny fraction of the damage at a longer cooldown with higher SP cost.

Outside of a few classes that either need reworking or more adding to them, most classes could easily be fixed with simple tweaks to ability damage, cooldown and SP cost.

Anyone have Colichemarde recipe on Gabija? or Dratt sword? Velniup would be the dream.

Well, i am telling this from 140 levels of archer experience. Archer c3>Scout even. I did not exactly complain until i hit the need to grind some mage f5 where i felt completely useless in the group solely for the lack of aoe damage. Yes, i can kill 2 mobs relatively fast, but what is the point when everyone else can kill the pack at the same time. On the other hand it seems to me that making the chance for it to get 1 more hit more than 50% would be an overkill.

Does cryo works with linker?
I mean, they don't have an "iceball" and ice bolt is weak as fuck. Also, ice pike has a long cooldown for primary dmg and going Kino has the same disadvantages, since the most dmg still are ice bolt and ice pike.
Going linker and kino 2 works as a fix for cryo or thauma C2 works better with swell left/right with rod/dagger? I guess that Elementalist C1 is shit and C2 without quick cast even more.

Linker can link wall section for massive damage on boss but it's impratical in the middle of mobs (impossible to use in demon prison 2 for example).

Honestly the only thing that seems to do any kinda of somewhat decent damage on my wiz -> cryo -> linker -> Thau 2 with maxed out attributes for both swell is that linked ice wall combo. I'm just warning you in advance if you want to try for yourself.

Me again from last thread. I still can't find a way to progress in Gateway of the Great King. I walked through the next few areas as well and none of the npcs there will give me any quests. I managed to level to 63 and now I have a main quest in Rukas Plateau but I take it I should be questing through these areas before I get there anyway?

Last quest I did was defeating the boss for Godess Saule and then stepping through the portal. Since I walked through that portal the quest line seems broken.

Linking your icewall makes each part shoot out shards at once, it's almost the same effect as psychocryo but slightly weaker and more annoying to set up. It still obliterates bosses though if you get a good linked icewall up, especially if you get Arde Dagger and hit it with that.

Anyone know if a Thaumaturge can use Shrink Body on boss monsters?

Does anyone else have an issue where loading seems to lock up for a very long time when changing maps, where the client is not responding? At worst, it takes upwards of 5 minutes to load, and it's not a bad computer. It seems to happen only one one character of mine, and seems to happen regardless of what computer I use. Logging onto other characters is almost instant, with no perceivable issue.

Is there any floor of the prison you should be farming in particular, or just go to whatever your level allows? 142 here.

I think it's fun, but the main usefulness comes in rank 6 when you become the ultimate wizard support. I realized when I got to the 130 dungeon and there was nothing but Barbarians that it's pointless go that route. Smite hits like a truck if you invest in the attribute and put a bunch of points in it though, and the SP regeneration from Regenerate attribute is beyond amazing. Conversion and Turn Undead should be removed and replaced with actual skills that do things.
