There was a duping glitch that let you transfer stacks of 99 items between characters, the rifle spear was broken in an oddly specific way and could deal 1.5k damage per shotgun blast if you stuffed it with flat arcane gems, and that's pretty much it. No other major glitches come to mind, outside the typical nerfs or buffs. A lot of the classic DeS/DaS1 bugs were avoided by virtue of mechanics overhauls like spells being usable items now instead of tied to equippable weapons.

Lucy's a fucking moron for still being stuck on it. Rom is piss easy, but it will arbitrarily drag the fight out because it will only sometimes decide to flail or AoE two or three consecutive times with seemingly no indication as to why. Two out of three times I fight it, it's fine. It can flail or launch an attack, I go in, I run out, rinse and repeat. The other time, it will flail twice in a row and won't let me approach for 20 seconds after that because it keeps bringing up its AoE. What really stings my sphincter is that it happens with no difference in my movement/attack pattern in all three fights.

They're clumping up a lot and trying to lure them away from each other usually has all three run at me with that constant swiping attack. First time I've ever struggled. He means if you went through the same motions each time then you would get the same result, such as waiting for a certain attack string, which would always end at the same point, then attacking. In BB, Bosses can seemingly continue their attack strings at random and have very slim cool downs after them. It means in BB, you have to rely more on reflexes than careful strategy.

Maybe it was just a result of doing SL1 runs, but there's ways to do DS1 bosses where you don't need to react much at all, you just have input:windup, output:dodge timing. They're pretty much all designed such that if you know their movesets and are fastrolling, you should never get hit. Hotdog is the same in that if you keep the right general distance, bait the right attacks and dodge appropriately, you should never get hit. Most BB bosses feel messier than that.

That's the word for it. HMPH mighth be one of the worst examples: those attacks he has that just don't have any startup. Cleric beast has one too. Sort of reflects the Bloodborne idea of oh you're going to get hit, but that's alright, dodge the rest of the string, counterattack and get most of it back.

Doesn't work that way with CRF though. Usually those messy attacks just kill you. Flailing attacks, or noodling as another anon put it.

It's maybe more accurate to say that you shouldn't rely on i-frames. Maybe somebody out there can git gud enough to i-frame through all of BSB's attacks, but it's easier to just walk behind it. Similarly, bosses like Cleric or Amelia that have very dangerous attacks when you're in front of them that are harder to dodge reliably than anything in DkS, but which don't deal a lot of damage when you're to the side or behind them.

Compare this to bosses like Smelter Demon where basically regardless of how you position yourself, all of its attacks will hit you. With the exception of its PBAoE, you just have to block or i-frame through every attack. So from a design standpoint, it isn't "allowed" to have any attacks that would be unfair to roll through.

10 str is there to let you use burial blade, and 10 bt is there to let you use reiter. If you don't care for it, leave bt at 7 and bring vit up to 31. Burial blade and BoM both do scale off of arcane, but the gain you'll get from each level in arc is so shit you'd be better off just leveling skill, especially if you're aiming to use a low level build.
There's the argument that you might be better off just pumping vit and leaving scaling stats at only required values for wielding whatever it is you wanted to use but Idunno man, you do you.

He's a cunt, that's for sure. The only sure-fire way I've got to kill him is go crazy with a co-op and be cautious with the AoE and don't try to dodge through it.
It also increases in size and damage during phase 2.

If you want to solo or don't have PS+, all I can say is use a Saw weapon or Axe spins with pellets. Kirk is great, too, but a bitch to hit him with even though it breaks his legs extremely fast, but will also leave you very open to attack.

Djura is on top of a tower in Old Yharnam where BSB is. You can get to him through there but if you do he'll be hostile. You can go through, kill BSB, then go to Hypogean Gaol, kill Darkbeast Paarl, then go up from that way through Old Yharnam and he'll be friendly.

Dunno if anyone's already completed that Ihyll dungeon, but here's what I found:

>second layer - yellow backbone x2 in the bonus room
>third layer - sage hair x3 in the bonus room and another FOUR from an illusory wall in the tiny room connecting to the boss gate

The bosses are really easy. First one is Beast-Possesed Soul, second is Keeper of the Old Lords, third is Headless Bloodletting Beast, and the last one is Pthumerian Elder. I think this chalice is definitely worth keeping around. I mean, holy shit, seven sage hairs! That's just fantastic.

I did it just to see what UNLIMITED POWER was like. Pretty fun. Tonitrus with three nourishing abyssals and 50 in both STR and ARC can tear up some ass. Same with ARC wheel. Ludwigs at 50/50 STR/SKLis what you'd expect, and Blades of Mercy at 50 END with a rune is hilarious
