That's pretty shitty. Man I'm starting to feel bummed out by all this and I said I wasn't going to let it happen to myself if it came down to that. There's just too many loose ends involving some shit, it hurts to think we may never know. My Gaster folder feels like a waste of time even though it probably was to begin with because 99-100% of it likely isn't even canon.

Well, this isn't like a tv show or comic or something, it was bound to stop updating eventually. Still, toby is a bit of an a-hole to promise content patches as a stretch goal and then not give it to us. I'd like to say it's illegal to not give what you promised on KS, but the sad fact is people get away with it all the time.

Besides, I feel like undertale was probably a one-hit wonder for toby. Nothing he makes from now on will ever get as big as this, and something tells me that even the content patches wouldn't live up to their hype

Personally if this was going to happen I wish he took longer on Undertale. Sure you can see the work that went into it, but the longer you play it the more you see where he cut corners.

And like I said, it never felt like a "long journey."

I'm kind of disappointed in the update, but I also see where he's coming from.

I consider myself a writer of sorts. I'm not famous or published, but I have a few short stories I've posted anonymous that got moderately popular. I know that it really fucking sucks when people keep screaming for more when your story is over.

At the same time, I really don't feel like Undertale is fucking over. Every single time there's a story where the ending is "And then everybody got to got to Earth" or something similar, it just cuts off right at that point. We get a little credits montage and that's fucking it. To me, that's skipping over the most interesting parts of the story—how our characters adjust to their new lives and world. That's something I really wanted to see, and now we'll never get it.

I get that he's moved on, but to some extent, I fucking haven't. There's still story potential here, and I want to see it be exploited.

Fuck.

Then almost nothing changed about her socially even though she's a princess, to the point where it's hard for her to get fucking cabs and shit.

At some point Twilight sang a song about how making her a princess changed nothing.
