If you're looking for a AoE health debuff, Nova does it better.
If you want self heals, use Trin.
They still failed to fix what makes Contagion so shitty, so its still shitty.
All they did was revert the nerfs made to Venom and nerf Miasma incredibly hard.

I know Contagion is useless shit and no one cares, but just look at its stats - it's an absolutely pathetic 30% buff and it only adds toxin *separately* (ie doent add to corrosive) - so its even more shit than 30% in reality unless vs corpus. It's completely negated by ancients and severly reduced by armor.

Yes 40%. The idea is not to rely on Saryn for ability damage. Because lets face it, her damage output is bad. Saryn is now the queen of mass viral procs. One of the best way to make use of viral procs would be to use your best gear to take down the enemy. A lot of shitters are trying to use power synergy to take down enemies and that will not work in the long run.

The real synergy is
>Gas Procs
>Bleed Procs (Weapons)
>Viral Procs
>Warframes that provide synergy with Saryn

NOT MIASMA.

Now here is the bad part. And it's also kind of fun. Reflection + Rage will be used for high tier melee weapon usage. If you want to melee that is, this build is perfect for it. And it's also perfect for weapon use.

If you create a CH build, my build will provide you energy plus life due to Reflection, Rage and Regenerative Molt.

I'll give you one my melee of choice.

-Fever Strike, V. Scourge, North Wind, PP, Fury, F. Energy, Reflex Coil, Spoiled Strike

>Bonus: Max Arcane Strike + Sentient with high ROF weapon

My melee build has a Channelign Cost of 1. Tie that in with my 160% eff. I can basically stay in CH mode if I wanted to. And if I need to switch to primary, I can easily pop a molt or Miasma to give me time to switch tactics.

I've tested my build against lvl 100 HG's only. Ranging from 1, 3, 6, 9, 15 to 20.

And I've survived the battle solo by paying attention to everything in my arsenal.

I do have another build which tweaked stats. If you want more Power Str, just replace OE with stretch. Venom works well with spreading so it's up to you. I only use OE because if I'm in a situation where I need to retreat, atleast OE will allow they spores to spread faster theoretically if my team is helping.

Or just use better frame.

so what. a team with 4 cool dudes can lose one tonkor to a ignis just to do viral and have the 3 remaining tonkors do the damage of 6. and saryn would be replaced with nova/banshee/whatever, again.

her 1 is not her saving grace. she cannot speedrun DEAC with it and outside DEAC you need a explosive weapon to kill things, by the time the viral proc is necessary you are either needing a nova instead or already have a nova and saryn is now useless. each venom cast does 1k damage, so its not negledible, but the lack of control and reliance on a weapon to detonate the venom makes her 1 redundant.

you can easily empower venom to do 4k damage per cast, but by the time you will see such petty damage acting, the enemies will be dying to tonkors doing 150k crits, at that point doubled by nova. at best you are a spare, and nova's 4 will react well with viral from 1, so maybe you will be lucky and you will be doing spare damage to the enemies, but not thanks to viral. the old venom before it was nerfed wont be back, and by the time you succeed on creating host-crashing DoTs to farm high level enemies the duration will end.

her 2 needs to control. the enemy needs to be mesmerized by the goddam molt, to the point of being useless otherwise. the molt wouldnt last above DEAC with petty ~800 HP, the explosive damage it does is a insult at that range, and the timer is even more so. had she had a timer only on molt, molt would control better that decoy, had molt not had a timer but a health bar she would do better on DEAC.

contagion, oh gosh, i didnt knew they nerfed contagion, i thought the block thing was a buff, no damage is useless even on DEAC.

miasma was in a sad need of a nerf. right now what saryn needs desperately is a status effect thats UNIQUE to her that will do something that NO WEAPON can do.

I was excited about Saryn's rework but then she comes out with that amazing skin, she has already 3 forma and full primed mods so I get her to different missions on high level like Triton, ceres, T4 def and survival... holy shit that sucked massive balls she can't even kill lvl 40-50 enemies and even the old saryn with all those nerfs was better than this shit.

The way they were raving about the rework, that's what they actually attempted to do. DE, as usual, failed in spectacular fashion. They can either make something so tremendously shit, that you don't ever want to touch it past mastery, or something so insanely good, that DE nerfs it into the ground less than a week later. When Excal could use syndicate mods&procs, that was the most fun i'd had in a while. I actually built a Mire and Dark Dagger, to test which of their augments would benefit more. Then DE goes and nerfs synd augments so a retrashed them. I haven't touched Atlas since he hit 30, but I hear his punch can completely wreck shit now.

Miasma pops spores for massive damage and procs corrosive. Duration is gone since it's damage is based on exploiting the spores.
