Honestly I got in about 40 kills a trip using a shield. All my gear was t85, except the shield which was a crystal ward. I used holy overloads and a wyrmfire potion with judicious use of EE and the offhand magaki or whatever it's called.

Anyway the trick was to be constantly using Preparation/Resonance/Reflect/sometimes revenge and soulsplit takes care of the rest.

It sounds like these new slayer monsters are EOC incarnate, which is bad. I don't like EOC anymore, and certainly can't be bothered to MANUALLY use DEFENSIVE abilities on a fucking slayer monster.

Waterfiends are a short task. Actually I've been looking at some stuff and it appears my list isn't optimal.

These are the best tasks for overall combat xp efficiency assuming you need xp in all combat stats. Slayer xp, charms and gp weren't taken into account, I may do that later. Charms could make a difference, slayer xp shouldn't make much of a difference. Note that short tasks with lower xp/hour can be more efficient than long tasks with higher xp/hour.

Based on this the best prefer list would probably be

Airut (melee)
Dark beasts (melee)
Waterfiends (range)
Glacors (magic)
Mutated jadinkos (melee)

Off-task xp rates were assumed to be:
Melee: 850k/hour
Magic: 780k/hour
Range: 750k/hour

this is my alt's stats. I'm thinking about giving it a bond when I hit at least 40 in all F2P stats and complete all the F2P quests on it. after that I would do a bunch of slayer and then work my way up to doing the relevant quests (namely for curses and prif) and get into stuff like bossing.
is this a good course of action? any advice?

That was based off the 958 kph with melee vs 816 kph with magic on Lifer's sheet. My own testing has confirmed the melee number is accurate, I have not tested them with magic.

Based on that magic efficiency would not exceed melee efficiency unless magic was 892+ kph.

For accuracy overloads are essentially a requirement, as is 99 range (or at least 97+) and anguish.

Assuming you have overloads, 99 range, are using anguish and aren't wearing melee or magic armor the only thing I can think of that might be hurting your accuracy is brews. Try to avoid using them as much as possible, even with overloads as you'll have very poor accuracy for up to 15 seconds until the boost reapplies. Supreme sharpshooter is extremely helpful. Void and a nihil also boost accuracy a fair bit, but save those for when you're more experienced.

Not going to type a novel about abilities on mobile but learn the approximate dps of each ability, it's helpful knowing what to prioritize.

Fragmentation shot is always the best basic if you can move the target.

Outside ds corruption shot is better than snipe, inside ds snipe is better. Both are always better than dazing shot, even in ds.

Corruption shot dps is approximately equal to rapid fire dps when ds is not active.

Unwalked frag shot is approximately equal to dazing shot without ds.

Use snapshot as your first threshold in ds so you can use it again at the end of ds.

What's the approximate kph and gp/kill of ripper demons and wyverns? Doesn't have to be very accurate, just need something to put on the sheet. I haven't had time to kill either.
