All Alter has better is NP, which isn't the entire fight in the slightest. Arturia has better skills, since both Instinct and Charisma are ranked higher, and she has 1k more atk, and 4k more hp at cap. Her passives are also better too.

So yeah great, for one wave of enemies, Alter is better. That's cool. Not to mention after you beat Arturia's Interlude, Excal is only 50% weaker than Morgan, and generates more NP after the fact too.
