/bbg/ PRE-DLC TOURNAMENT

Starting Friday, November 20th at 7pm EST and continuing as needed the following days.

To be determined, but probably a Non-FRC Isz one of us can make since the last took place in Loran. If you would like, create an Isz CD and submit the glyph, to be listed, to [email protected] or ragincajunnugz on the PSN. Keep in mind: little or no enemies, a messenger bath, and open-closed glyph.

>RULES
Same as Fight Club, but a few changes:
- Host will be neutral and streaming, so no one needs to Blood Bullet
- All gems acceptable
- Best 2/3 (semi-finals will be best of 5, Finals will be best of 7)
- BL 120 cap (those who feel the need on a lower than 120, when facing a 120 as your opponent, may savescum, level up, and then fight)
- There will be no complaints of lag. If you believe lag is the cause of your loss, take it like a man.
- After a character has been selected to participate, there will be no changing once the Tournament has started.
- Rules subject to change, stay updated.

Nope, nothing yet. Of course, it's actually harder to search the entire labyrinth than you might think, and the majority of searching is actually concentrated on a very, very small section of it. Namely, depth 5 dungeons. Different depths have different drop lists, but nobody ever bothers to make depth 4 dungeons unless they want a particular uncanny weapon.

Hintertombs is probably the least explored dungeon on both depths 2 and 3, for obvious reasons.

SRRC is working pretty well right now for my BL98 guy. Every two minutes or so.

Yeah, it seems like the server maintenance fixed it really well. Even adversary matching gets a hit every 10-15 minutes, when previously it wouldn't ever work.

When aiming for co-op in dungeons, just pick a pvp range and use the summon formula instead. So, level 115/116 can be summoned by levels 80-169. For pvp, 98 is probably the idea range for all the same reasons you already know.

You can still use it at base skill. Like I said you should be using chalice gems you lazy fuck to make up the damage you'd lose from a lack of scaling. You could stop at rarity 16 gems if you don't want to shit all over hosts, you don't HAVE to get the 27.2% ones.

I think it's a pretty safe bet it'll be a physical and arcane split weapon. Gems with %up in one and flat on the other should be good, though brainsucker gems might not be terribly useful due to the incredibly small primary effect. Best bet might be to farm fetid-aura sages, they drop nearly every primary and have crazy secondaries.

The Normal Rom fight takes place in the wide open so you can completely ignore the little spiders. The Chalice fight is in a tiny space so the little spiders start crowding the area if you ignore them. It makes you have to kill them which slows everything way down.

That's assuming you don't just cheese her with the Flamesprayer, which I want to avoid doing because it sucks the fun out of the fight.

What annoys me is not how incomplete they are, its how they interact with pvp/coop.

At first it sounds cool with Executioners invading people with the vileblood rune and hunter of hunters invading blood addled people and so on. But it just ends up locking you out of online play most of the time and just doesn't plain work in general.

The actual functioning of them could definitely be improved, but even the idea isn't very exciting, because wearing a rune is just a chance that you might occasionally try to co-op with someone who's an enemy. It's not a new way to invade or anything like a Gravelord covenant. And with HoH it's even vague why you might show up purple. It's me being a retard nevermind. The jump I'm talking about gets you from the tower with the numbing mists to a platform. This platform is where you'd drop down from if you'd gone through Lower Cathedral Ward. I've done the jump a total of once to get the fire crescent gem there without killing BSB, but I was confused about the geography of the place. There's definitely no way to get from there all the way up to the radiant sword hunters badge.

first blind playthrough, just beat Rom, got saw cleaver at 6 but cant find anymore chunks to upgrade it.

Unfortunately I am losing interest in the game but dont want to gimp myself upgrading the saw cleaver if its shit for other bosses, I barely did any damage against Rom.

That said I've only been putting stats into Vit so that might be contributing, havent invested in str/skl much yet

I ran two quality characters at the exact same level but with different scaling stat distributions
one would get gems with evenly distributed curses
the other would get gems that would come almost exclusively with atk/HP down

Yes, Djura will always be hostile at first.

But as long as you kill BSB, get the insight from seeing Paarl and approach from the Good Chalice lamp (kill BSB) then Djura will be friendly.
