I find Sonic Adventure 2 far more fun then the first game. It feels less rushed and more like a finished product. Adventure 1 is okay as long as you play as Sonic, Tails, or Gamma. Sonic and Tails focus on speed and running through the level, and Gamma's shooting was fun (at least to me). Knuckles' levels get confusing very quickly, Sega did not know how to do freerange exploration back then. Amy's levels involve running away from danger and that gets old real fast. And Big's levels will make you grind your teeth right out of your head with their redundancy and general poor play, add to that it's fucking fishing and you will be wishing Golf games had been more popular back then, maybe Big would have been Tall and had to play 18 holes to win a Chaos Emerald Trophy.

Just finished Lost World on PC.

Controls are ass, but once you get used to, it becomes merely ok. I died a lot of times due to how stiff and awkward turning in this game is. And don't get me started on the fucking wisps.

Level design is meh, controls don't make it as enjoyable as I wanted it to be. It could have been great moving along the level if the controls weren't so stiff.

Don't care much about the story, but I may be the 1% of all Sonic fans that find the Zeti decent villains. Their dialogue is sometimes really hilarious but their motifs are cliche as fuck.

Music is ok, not many tracks I find memorable, compared to games like Colors, Unleashed, or Gens.

Graphics are surprisingly really nice looking. Very colorful, albeit a bit too plain and simple.

Overall, based on my experience, I'm giving it a 7/10. Despite its flaws, I still enjoyed it. I hope that if Sonic Team were to give this whole Lost World like style again, I would appreciate it if the controls weren't as awkward as before.

Advance 2's boss fights were fun, because you had to be reckless to hit the boss, but you also had to be careful at the same time, and it struck a nice balance. Actually, as a whole, Advance 2 is one of those games that I appreciate the older I get. The trick system is great, the boost system it had is great, the soundtrack is great, it's just very fun. My only real complaints is that some levels are literally "hold right", and getting the emeralds is a horrible, horrible process

I'm really tired, so my typing-mannerisms might not be as complex as they normally are. Anyway, here it goes:

Like, Sonic's speed is gained from moving his fast real damn quick and using the momentum from each step to get to the next one.

Shadow's is literally all in the skiing on the rocket boots. So either Sonic runs using the very awkward looking shoes, or skis like Shadow does, he's not exactly gonna make the things go faster.

Oh, and nobody should have to suffer through M25YL. It's the worst arc in the entire comic and possibly the worst story in anything Sonic-related. I am not kidding. 06 had a better fucking story because at least things happened., and at least you can derive some form of entertainment from it. Not so with M25YL.
