I want a VS puzzle game. Could take place on the surface, could be a retelling, whatever, as long as it has a robust story mode so we can get more of these guys.
For characters, you'd have Frisk, Pap, Sans, Alph, Tori, Asgore, and probably Flowey/Asriel and maybe Chara. Bonus points if some of the more important side characters like Snowdrake, Temmie or Riverperson get to be playable, too.

Pacifist isn't much harder than Neutral, unless you never upgrade your defense items. Genocide is the only path with genuinely difficult parts.

so basically, frisk has done innumerable true resets to save asriel, but it turns out this puts a strain on their body. first it starts as like a headache, then maybe some pains in their limbs, and then it advances to being almost crippling the more they reset. They realize this is the last time they can make the run, and using the knowledge theyve gained over their numerous runs, they need to get the true ending one more time while just barely keeping from collapsing the whole time (they would convince toriel to go with them since they're too weak to fight anymore)

optional ending where they give their soul to asriel just before they die and then their personality fades but asriel gets a second chance at life

since you like it so much, here are some details to it:

It immediately becomes a one-hit run, with frisk being so weak he only has 1hp the whole time
Flowey's encounter goes from being completely safe to extremely dangerous, since if Frisk touches even one of Flowey's bullets, he's dead forever
Like I said before, Frisk would convince Toriel to go with them, maybe by hinting that they know about Toriel's past
Undyne fight will be awesome, with Toriel backing Frisk up
Getting even more messed up from Undyne fight, Frisk will give no craps as they just barge into the True Lab and confront Alphys (and get her together with Undyne somewhere along the way)
After the Asgore and Asriel battle, frisk will be completely bloody and on their last legs, but they still somehow manage to get to Asriel and give him their soul
Asriel gets revived, but Frisk's personality won't be there (like it is in Fatz's AU)
End with Asriel slowly walking back to the exit, tears in his eyes
