Deathrattle minions are usually very good. This being said, its stats are utter garbage, it can't really trade with any relevant minion besides leper gonmes and druid's saplings - but against slower decks you can sorta "replace" its useless body thanks to its battlecry effect, which gives you flexibility without sacrificing card slots.
Honesty, the warlock's one seems much better. 2 attack is wayyyy better than 1, and it can also work as a 3-drop.

1. You usually do nothing on turn 2 as a priest
2. It is a minion for velen's
3. Looking at pic related, the chances to get a Really good card is very high, while the chances of getting a bad card is low. The fact that you can do three rolls and that you can pick the one you want (e.g. Sylvanas over Deathlord against control and vice versa against smorc) makes the chances of that little shit giving you a great card sky-rocket.

It's like an Unstable Portal which instead of giving you random minion and reducing it's cost by 3, it immediately puts a minion (with admittedly shitty stats) on board and gives you an almost certainly high value card (unlike portal). Sure you want get that turn 5 Tirion, but it has other pros over esportal.

That's why they made the minion not being able to also trade with stuff like jugglers or scientists. And in the end it still kills leper gnomes and pallydudes, pops divine shields and doesn't die to hero powers.

As turn one it's just silly, as you could have used the two slots in your deck for cards you can actually use.

In the extreme late game, though, it's a pretty versatile dice roll that could give you a helping hand for the current situation, but I still can't see it being played much outside of an adapted token druid.

Certainly looks like a fun card.

Dream can stay, it has a lot of uses, like saving your Ysera from a silence or killing an opponent's aggression.
Emerald Drakes can stay, because 7/6 for 4 mana is fantastic.
Awaken can stay, because clearing the board of everything but Ysera is typically a really good position to be in.
Laughing Sisters and Nightmare can fuck right off, they're so shit that I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they were put in to the dream deck because the other cards were too good.

Control decks take a lot more to build than just 1 legendary. If you were gonna use Ysera, you'd use her in Dragon Priest (requires practically all of BRM) or Control Warrior (requires at least 5 other legendaries).

I think their new deathrattle card (unearthed raptor) is better than we're giving it credit for. Control Rogue needed a new card and pretty much any possible deathrattle you take could be useful. Hell, even aggro might be able to use it. Stealing leper gnome's ability or haunted creeper on a 3/4 would be difficult to deal with.

This game ought to have some sand-box mode where you can just craft a deck from anything you want and test it against the AI.

They should also just let you buy specific cards that you need or class specific boosters containing at least one or two cards from that class.

Blizzard makes great games, but this pay to play business is a huge turn off for those who want to play a casual game and not invest either excessive amounts of time or money to enjoy it.

Yes, 1 card is huge in an extremely strict list like Freeze. The only card you could make an argument to replace is Healbot.
