I played with toddlers for the first time today. The animations and interactions are cute, but they are a pain to balance with everything else overall. With that said, it makes the aging transition less awkward for me than in Sims 4, when it's just straight from baby to child.

I was thinking way back about how people behind the sims aknowledge that lewd mods exist but they don't encourage it.

BUT they don't neccessarily try to STOP these mods for being made. Thats neutral and thats a good thing in any artform or fandom based media.

There's a lot of problems in the world today with people outside a target audience trying to change something that doesn't afffect them, weather its books, comics, movies, or games.

The best thing about media is that there's something out there for everyone, if you don't fit game X's target audience they'll always be game Y.

The problem today is developers, comic book publishers, etc, alienating their core audience by changing things for a "phantom" audience that does not simply exist. You're simply not going to get more people buying your product by changing it to appeal to a demographic whims that aren't guaranteed to buy your product or support your product anyway. The beauty of a core audience is that as long as you enhance past experiences and don't outright change them, for better or for worse, you're always gonna have a fandom, a core audience that will consume your product to a nearly guaranteed degree.

The words about lewd mods were chosen well, they made their opinion known, but they did nothing as far as trying to hinder or destroy or CND any mods that do that. Thats a good thing.

I named the two kids, a boy and a girl, David and Jade. As I stated before, this makes Jade the heir.

I added a third floor onto the building, as well as a roof/attic. On the third floor will be Jade's room, a bathroom, and a general play room. David's room will be the spare room on the second floor, next to Adrian's den and the master bedroom.

The attic isn't going to see much use yet.

Sims 4, as many expansions you can find/afford and whatever for mods.

I've been giving Pinstar's Apocalypse challenge for sims 4 a go lately. Has anyone else tried this shit?

Basically: trapped in 8x8 area, can't move large items, no showers, no fridge/ovens... to unlock restrictions, you have to reach the top of a career.

What keeps dicking me over is that there's a rule where you have to quit your job if you miss work or come home early for any reason.

Pic is the ground floor of the very cramped house. I'm starting to feel like pools are cheating, because they massively satisfy fun and hygiene.

I accidentally fucked up just now and had quadruplets. Things are getting hectic - there's now nine sims in the house, and I've only unlocked one restriction so far. People are glued to the sinks frantically washing their hands over and over and over again.

The founder's wife is about to die of old age without reaching the top of her career. It's depressing.

The rules also don't mention how many floors you can have. I have two basement levels, which felt a little cheaty at first, but now I have nine sims in the house is very much needed.

If you have an Nvidia (possibly other cards too, but I can only speak to what I own) you can also try forcing on vertical sync and triple buffering through your video card settings.

I did this without the frame rate limiter and it works great.

Not really possible since you'd have to crack the game to use pirated content.

It works differently than earlier games did where each expansion had it's own executable. Since it's all in one now, legitimate game will notice content you didn't buy hence it can't be used together.

Provided that crack is out for the latest patch (and it's not because it gets cracked so rarely), you could use it with legit game as well as the other content, but then you can't use legit game features such as gallery, so what's the point. You would be better off pirating it all.

That was only valid for first 3dm crack
They are quick to release cracks but they release shit cracks. Similar thing happened to GTAV with their first cracks
Reloaded crack never did that because they take time to crack it properly.

I did similar thing in TS3, with all starting the new world from one sim and having obvious restrictions since you can't get a job there without community lots.
But I also restricted myself from adding new families, everyone had to be descendant from the first family.

I finally downloaded sims 4 and wanted to talk about it here but found out the general died. Anyone else thinks sims 4 is kinda boring? Should I rather play sims 3 with all expansions?

Yeah, TS4 lacks a lot of interaction between townies when you're not paying attention to them, though that is part of the reason TS3 runs so poorly with all its mods.

Personally, I wouldn't run TS3 with every expansion as it really hurts load times and will lag your game very badly. Pets especially.

That being said, lewd mods for TS3, while still a bit lacking, are far and away better than what we have for TS4.

Pets are a problem because strays spawn anywhere, even in little holes left in routing layer so this can create an endless search for non-existent route until they get reset. Won't matter how good your CPU is here.

Should be alright with most other expansions I think. Showtime is quite useless and has a limo spawn bug, but there's a mod for that.

My game ran fairly well with fullblown nraas story progression, no pets and showtime. And no SPs. You should be alright if your CPU is decent, but you never know, some people still report problems even on good systems.

Pets is fairly bad. The others are manageable, though I would suggest you only install the expansions/stuff packs that you really want, to lower long load times.

Yes. With enough expansions, TS3 will crush your 980s and still have 5-7 minute loads on a SSD. The game is not very well optimized and has tons of bugs. Go to NRAAS and download basically everything there.
