There's a TTK/"Legendary"/Whatever disc version. It contains the original disc and codes to download the DLCs.

The thing is it can be significantly cheaper than the eternally-$60 digital copy thanks to the old "digital games are totally noncompetitive on price breaks" thing. I have $25 of Amazon credit, or I can get it at Best Buy with their absurd Gamer Card thing that gives a discount. But that will always leave me looking for a disc when I want to boot the game.

The question is how big of an irritation is that going to be. Is this like every modern Blizzard game where the "Daily Quest" (whether for loot in WoW or virtual money in their F2P games) is a goddamn plague designed to keep you forever doing their games like a job? Because if this game wants me logging in every 24 hours or so, I'm basically going to be doing a lot of swapping if I ever want to mix in anything else.

I've just started playing Destiny, love it and I really want to try Vault of Glass.

It's really up to you.

Destiny is the kind of game where the best stuff is at endgame, so you'll have to invest time into it if you want to enjoy everything to the fullest extent. You don't need to play every day to keep up with things, and even if you do the benefits from dailies aren't massive that you can't afford to miss, and they only take about 30 minutes at most.

That said, you can enjoy the game even playing it 3 or 4 days a week. It's fun even if you're not completely caught up with everyone else.

I recommend you play the demo and see how you like the general feel of the game.

I saw my first Y2 lag switchers earlier today. First card and needed one more win for flawless. We were up 3-0 until things started getting really weird, not being able to shoot them, enemies were walking slow.

We all got kicked out of the game one by one. Counted as a loss. Destiny Trials report marked it as a 3-2 victory for some raisin. One of the guys in our fire team went "okay I'mma go play black ops 3" and left. Other one was screaming and reported them all, probably saved a video. They were too salty to finish, just switched my character and found another team from friends list.

I have abandoned the last seven matches because my team mates made such incredibly idiotic rookie mistakes, following by the enemy team taking the lead with several thousand points ahead.

why don't more people use stormtrance in trials? It's amazing. I haven't died once while using it in over 6 games. It's easy to clean up a round if all the enemies cluster up together.

It's far too annoying when your team is glued to your back, shoving you aside whenever they move.

Several times now I have been pushed into a sniper's line of sight by my fucktards of team mates. No idea if they're just grieving or legit dumbfucking stupid.

I'd say I leave about 1/5 games at the very least now when I have teammates that don't score a single point by the time I get to 1500 or more, while the other team is at 3000 from the free kills.

I don't care about the loot or the win/loss, I care about having fun. A match becoming an effective 1v6 is not fun. A team that has near unlimited super energy is not fun to play against. If I realise I'm teamed with shitters, I have no qualms about leaving them.

I'll agree that something about collision detection changed when TTK came out and that I get shoved around more often
I tend to just grab my sniper and go find a nice corner to pitch a tent in when I find myself with a team like that though.
If you're out for KD spread you're kind of screwed, but if you're sick of dealing with shit, just go throw yourself at the enemies and get mercy faster, that way you still get rewards.

So my current Obsidian Mind has an intellect roll of 37 and a discipline roll of 50. According to the Destiny Wiki, the range of intelligence for OM is 31-84, so my helm is on the low side, whereas the range for discipline is 31-53 so mine is very high. Personally discipline is more important to me currently as with my current setup both my intellect and discipline are in Tier 4, and I'm happy enough with that.

Should I bother twisting fate to try to get a higher int roll on my OM or just not care and stick with the very high discipline roll it currently has?

If I keep it, should I infuse it to get it higher? It's currently at 302. I don't want to waste shards infusing it if it's roll is too shitty.
