Tips on how to use the beam staff? It feels so much less effective than the Conflag which I prefer over the Fireball staff as well

A good elf is a benefit to have on your team. I split between ES and WW. If you have the longbow, you'll skewer about 4-5 rats at once if they're close enough and they'll all die.Like most things elf related: It's all about dat penetration. I regularly out damage BW's because you never have to slow down, you can just keep pumping arrows into the crowd taking huge chunks out of it. You can pop most specials with a single headshot on all levels with an orange but follow up shots are very fast too. You can do a really good job of clearing the backs of your frontline with the S/D. The WW is fucking boss as shit IF the person can actually fucking aim and is very adaptable. But if you see trueflight, kick that shitter asap. In fact anyone using anything but the longbow can be kicked immediately IMO. The poison is shit, the swift bow is garbage that means noone on the team will be getting any ammo all game. Trueflight is for shitters.

This. I've seen bots hold off waves on their own without getting hit, and I've seen players at full health get downed by 4 clanrats surrounding them on Hard.

once you crouch out of that bit you'll have to fight all the normal clanrats up there , once you destroy all the 4 chains rats still spawn but they die instantly jump down and walk to the entrance of the first floor to trigger the barrels to spawn, once you've done that just place the barrels and the game ends

What's the deal with Kruber's Mace & Shield? Half the time it bugs out and I can't cancel out the swing to bring the shield up, I need to wait for the swing to fully complete. This does not happen nearly as often with the dwarf.

I'm not sure if it's just that I'm bad or if it's my teammates but things just don't go very well for me in this. Like, I try and communicate but a lot of times i end up in situations where we'll be fighting a horde and we'll get swarmed from behind and I'm fighting them but everyone else has moved ahead and lets me die. I'm not sure if this is my fault or not. Like, I try to stick together but it seems like nobody fucking looks behind them or cares about teammates.
